Summary
In the neon towers of Kiyomihara, sorcerers reign like gods, lording their cursed techniques and cyberpunk splendor over the people of the Abyss. But beyond the glowing skyline, where trashpunk cities rot and vital instruments are lifelines, resentment festers. Between the Givers who craft salvation from scraps, and the Cleaners who protect their fractured streets, sorcerers are as despised as they are feared.
At the center of it all is Lavi Fushiguro, the newly named Princess of the Zenin clan, twin sister to Megumi, and daughter of the notorious Toji. Born into power, she is expected to heal her father’s legacy, marry well, and preserve her clan’s prestige. Instead, she runs across rooftops, slipping into the Abyss where she doesn’t belong.
One reckless rooftop chase puts her on the radar of Enjin, a Cleaner with too much grit, too many scars, and no patience for a sorcerer brat flashing her skirts in his city. Their first encounter is pure irritation. Their second is fire. And when fire meets gasoline, it doesn’t take long for a secret affair to ignite. One neither of them can afford, yet both are unwilling to end.
