Work Text:
Two partners go on a stroll in a partly cloudy afternoon
The blonde points out a flowery scent of nearby shops
Her red headed companion told her there were flowers on sale
She grew an interest for another bouquet
He looks up at the sky, and noticed the cloud are shifting
He suggests her if they could find a place to avoid possible rain
She, at first, thinks it’s just a strong breeze
But then a drop lands on her head
They immediately decide to stay in an unknown bar nearby
The rain at the window forms before them.
Its raining hard. Very hard.
The thunder didn't make it any better.
She distracts herself, through the atmosphere she grew fond
The lights gave a welcoming warmth
The scent was pleasant enough to remind her of the fragrance from earlier
She hears him chatting with the bartender
Along with ordering something she’s unfamiliar about
The bartender teases the two
A dark yet gentle aura faintly appears beside her
Which disappeared in an instant
And before she could ask what just happened
She senses two different aromas, one bold, one gentle
She goes to take a sip of the one in front of her
The tea was citrus scented with a hint of earthy mildew
He smiles at the sight before taking his sip of his smoky, bitter coffee
Rain has quiet down, so has the thunder
Despite that they stayed there for a while
