Arthit's brows crinkle as he watches Daotok display his tarot cards in front of his friends.
He thought Daotok hadn't shared this part yet. Clearly, he was not the only one who knew about his abilities, but Arthit knows that's actually a good thing.
"Really?" asks North excitedly as he starts staring at his hand. "Do you think P' Jo will propose soon?"
"I don't know how soon, but it certainly seems to be heading to a marriage proposal," says Daotok softly as he leans back in his chair only to startle.
Arthit realizes then that he'd gotten too close, hands resting on the back of the younger's chair.
"Shit, sorry," says Arthit quickly as he looks down to see Daotok looking up at him in surprise. He shoves his hands into his pocket and takes two steps back. "Got lost in thought. I was just coming to let you all know that they're heading to the cafe in a bit to study. Your boyfriends said to let them know if you're riding together or coming with them."
"Why'd they send you?" asks North with a half-smile that's far more knowing than he wanted to deal with.
"Because I'm heading to get my bike," replies Arthit as he makes a face in response, unconsciously teasing North because he does it so often already. "I'm not going to study with everyone tonight, so I was annoyed too. But I had to park my bike over here this morning because of the stupid construction and me leaving late."
"Oh? I thought you were studying with them tonight," says Daotok softly, brows furrowed adorably.
"Nah, I have something to handle. If I do show up, they'll probably be packing up to leave. So, I'm studying on my own once I handle what I need to handle," replies Arthit with a shrug, having forgotten that he'd told Dao that he was going to study with the others tonight.
"What do you have to handle? You don't do anything," says North while sticking his tongue out at him.
"Personal business, North, go get in your boyfriend's if you're curious," replies Arthit as he flips the younger one off, rolling his eyes when North immediately tugs out his phone. "Anyway, message given. I'm heading out now."
"Wait, Thit, what's going on?" asks Daotok softly as he stands and rounds the chair to stop him from leaving, worry lacing his words.
"Nothing, Dao, just gotta help a friend out," replies Arthit softly as he gently pats a hand on Dao's shoulder. "It's across town, so I won't make it back in time to study before they're done. I'm gonna be at the dorm, if you want to stop by when you're done, okay?"
"Okay, I'll stop by," murmurs Daotok with a firm nod before his hand lifts to rest gently on Arthit's cheek. "If this gets violent, you better not come home with bruises anywhere except for your knuckles."
"Understood, Dao," replies Arthit with a chuckle as he leans into the hand for a moment before pulling away. "Now, deal with your gaping friends before I get swarmed."
"You should deal with them, showing up like that," grumbles Daotok with an eye roll.
"If I deal with them, their boyfriends are going to kill me," replies Arthit knowingly before he tilts his head, asking a silent question that he's not sure will be answered.
"Please, Thit," murmurs Dao as he tilts his head back, eyes fluttering shut, and Arthit sighs happily.
He leans in and brushes a gentle kiss to his boyfriend's lips before pulling away and knocking their noses together gently.
"See you at home, Dao," says Arthit gently before he pulls away entirely. "I can't wait to hear how you lot react when you find out that your boyfriends knew this whole time."
"Oh crap," sighs Daotok defeatedly as he leans his head forward to drop harshly onto Arthit's shoulder. "I forgot they seen us on our first date. I'm not going to get any studying done."
"Probably not, but that just means you'll have reason to study with me tonight," replies Arthit with a wink when Daotok lifts his head to glare at him. "See you later, Doll."
"See you later, Thit," replies Daotok with a sweet wave before all hell breaks loose.
Arthit escapes in the stream of screeches, almost feeling bad until he remembered that Daotok left him to his friends after they seen them on their date. Now, they're even.
As he reaches his bike, Arthit looks down at his hands and sighs.
"I guess, I have to win this fight quick, otherwise Dao's going to kick my ass," grumbles Arthit with a pout because Dao's way of kicking his ass is to refuse cuddles and kisses for three damn days.
It's Arthit's least favorite punishment.
So, he's going to kick some major ass and avoid too many bruises on his knuckles and ensure there aren't any bruises anywhere else either.
For his Star.
