It’s a good thing the rooms at this hotel are accessible via the parking lot, he thinks. Rain already has a hard enough time getting the man inside the room without stairs added to the mix. Half carrying/half dragging him there, while trying to be mindful of the injuries he can see, and those he can't. He's relieved when he's finally done, and the man is lying on top of the bed.
