Summary
The room went quiet, with the only sounds being the slightly eerie tune of the silent AC and the ticking of the clock that hung above the TV. The lights of the dining, kitchen, and living room were turned off, and the hallways were slightly dimmed down as it was nighttime; they gave a yellow tinned glow. The only light they had was from the TV, which only showed the homescreen of Matt's Nintendo after the last game. Smitty then places a hand on Matt's knee, "C'mon Mattie, over a silly game of Mario Kart?". His tone lingers a thread of something that makes Matt's skin tingle and get slightly warm, though he won't admit it, he never has and never will.
"You're blushing, y'know?" He says in his teasing voice again.
