Work Text:

Swimming through the deep sea water of her hometown, looking up to the surface of the water, Da-jeong is always curious about the outside world, outside of the deep sea water.

She knew that it had non-magical creatures called humans, a creatures with no unique traits or abilities, aside from being adaptive and intelligent beings like almost all magical creatures.

And yet, humans are not always very smart.

Humans, specifically humans on a boat, can easily be tricked by the beautiful sounds of a siren's voice, and are proven to be an easy food source and free resources from the boat, as Da-jeong watches the other adults siren do it.

Lazily slinging her feathered arms, doing an upstroke and downstroke, flapping her arms around the water, as Da-jeong "flies" around her hometown.

It was time for her to leave, and go to the outside world.

She was 20 years old now, it was about time for her to go to the outside world.

Da-jeong was nervous about it, swimming up to the surface, each stroke closer to it, make her heart beat faster.

Poking her head out of the water, as she got hit by a cold breezing feeling on her face, the sounds of leaves rustling, looking at the deep black sky dotted with thousands of twinkling white dots with a big white moon fully visible, illuminating brightly.

It's a pretty sight to witness.

Climbing up a big rock, as she sits on the rock, the rough cold surfaces of the rock, and its jagged texture against her skin, as her feathers start falling piece by piece, her scales disappearing, morphing into a smooth textured kind of skin like humans, leaning her back a bit to look at the full moon falling down.

Unbeknown to Da-jeong, there's a predator behind her; rustling the tall grass, as two yellow glowing eyes, sneaky crawling through the tall grass, its whiskers moving forward, its tail pressed flat to the ground, as the predator moves forward.

Its black furs camouflage the predator better, making the predator blend in the dark environments of the night, as the predator is at the edge of the lake, behind Da-jeong, 5 ft away, as Da-jeong is blissfully humming, blissfully unaware, as the predator jumps from behind, pounding onto Da-jeong, as Da-jeong's eyes widened, snapping her neck to look behind, but it's too late, as the predator accidentally submerged itself and the target underwater.

As the predator fumbles around the water, keeping its head afloat, paddling around the water, as Da-jeong's feathered arms and scales return back when she's in water.

As Da-jeong flaps her arms to circles around the predator.

It's a big humanoid cat, with torn up dirty white long-sleeved unbuttoned buttons up shirt, and ruined black trousers, as it struggles around, climbing onto the rock, rapidly shaking its head to dry itself, before starting to lick its furs.

As the predator looks around the water, spotting its target, just standing still there, Da-jeong knew that she should have run away, get as far away from the predator, as she quickly turn around, flapping her arms to go deeper, but the predator immediately pounded into the water, as its weight caused Da-jeong to stop, and "fall" as the predator hook its sharp fang teeth onto Da-jeong's shoulder, as Da-jeong whine, kicking her legs, flapping her arms around, to go deeper.

As the predator paddles its legs up to the surface, trying to keep its head afloat, wrapping its arms around Da-jeong's waist to secure her, as it struggles with Da-jeong trying to go deeper underwater.

Just as hope is about to be lost, as the predator suddenly released its fangs from Da-jeong's shoulder, blood coated a good chunk of the surface water, as the predator growled, as Da-jeong turned around to look at the predator, clutching her shoulder tightly, as the predator's fangs start shirking, bones cracking loudly, as the predator whine in great pains, as it start becoming smaller and smaller, its furs shred itself, its feline jawline pressing itself backwards; its claws morphing, falling backwards, as it accidentally hit its head onto the rock, as the predator groan loudly.

It was a distressing sight to witness, as Da-jeong stay frozen, watching the morbid transformation, as the predator went from a beastly cat to a...

Human?

A female human, with short black hair wrapped around her neck, pale-skinned, seemingly unconscious, as Da-jeong cautiously gets closer, poking her head out of the water, wrapping her arms around the stranger's waist, moving to back, as the stranger's head fall onto Da-jeong's shoulder, their breasts pressed against each other, which Da-jeong doesn't find it strange, she is used to nudity, cause well, siren barely wore every clothing, cause they're in water almost all the times.

Taking a good look at the stranger's face, her chubby cheeks are cute to Da-jeong, with her eyebags visible under the stranger's eyes.

As Da-jeong grabs the stranger's shoulder with one hand, as she moves the stranger, cupping one of her hands onto the stranger's chubby cheeks, the cat's ears are visible on the stranger's head.

As the stranger suddenly moves, throwing Da-jeong off guard, as the stranger slowly opens her eyes, her dark brown eyes visible, as Da-jeong looks at the sky, noticing that the full moon is gone, displaying an orange radiant, with passionate reds and serenes purple, as the golden light slowly illuminated, as Da-jeong turn her eyes back on the stranger, as the stranger groggily blink.

Moving back, as her eyes landed onto Da-jeong's breasts, as the stranger's cheeks turn bright red, falling back, causing Da-jeong to unwrap her arms around the stranger's waist, as the stranger fumble over trying to keep her head afloat, as Da-jeong smiles, chuckling at the fail attempts, wrapping her arms around the stranger's waist, moving up a bit, so the stranger can breath.

"Who are you..?"

The stranger asks, her eyes looking to the side, her cheeks still red.

"Choi Da-jeong. You?"

Da-jeong responded, still smiling.

"Go Bok-su..."

Bok-su hesitantly answered.

Bok-su? What a strange name to name your child.

"So. Bok-su-ssi, how come you went from a terrifying cat to a human?"

Da-jeong asks, the transformation wasn't everything she had seen before.

"Huh..? What do you mean?"

Bok-su confusedly responded.

"All i can remember is getting bitten by a strange-looking cat and i just blacked out, didn't know how i even ended up in the lake."

Bok-su vaguely explained.

"You still got cat's ears on your head."

Da-jeong mentioned, as Bok-su tilted her head, with a puzzled looks, as Bok-su touched her head, feeling the cat's ears on top of her head.

"How the hell did i become a catgirl?"

Bok-su whispered, looking even more confused.

This is certainly the most interesting way to meet somebody from the outside world, Da-jeong thought.
