You felt a hand touch your shoulder and shake you ever so gently.
“Wake up, love,” you open your eyes, groggy from the events of the previous night. “We have to get over to George and Angelina’s.” Your eyes focus on the bright redhead in front of you.
“What time is it?” You ask, barely attempting to free yourself of the sheets tangled on your legs.
“Time to get up!” He bends over to pick you up from the bed. Before he gets his grip on you, a cheeky grin grips your face, and you pull his arms down onto the empty space next to you. He falls over onto the bed, laughing. You curl up next to him.
“In a minute, Fred,” you yawn. He laughs again and sighs, wrapping his arms around you.
“You always say that, then end up falling asleep again. We really should get going,” He rests his chin on your head. “This is quite nice, though.” He closes his eyes and rests his nose on your head, inhaling deeply.
“Mhmm,” is all you can reply as you drift back to sleep.
