Summary
Stiles's heart flutters nervously in his chest. His entire body, submerged in the bath, burns from the icy water, his teeth clicking against each other with every breath. But on either side of him are Scott and Allison, and it's not like they're currently spiraling into a panic attack. But Scott has an advantage, his werewolf tricks must have given him some extra tolerance to extreme temperatures. And Allison- she's a hunter with an impenetrable, confident face.
He looks at Deaton again. Sure, the mysterious veterinarian knows what he's doing. Yeah, he said it was dangerous, but who is Stiles to drown in a bathtub with some herbs that look like parsley?
Or in which Nemeton gives Stiles the Spark and now he has to deal with it. And that's not the only problem.

Summary
The story of how Derek, a borderline feral werewolf pup, finds himself having an unlikely affinity for a younger boy named Stiles—despite the fact that this kid might be the most annoying person in existence. As the years go by and hardship repeatedly strikes like a violent ocean against the shore, they realize that the only way to stay afloat in their chaotic world is by anchoring each other and learning to build despite the onslaught of chaos and destruction that Beacon Hills attracts.

*Previously titled "Derek's Person." Now changed to be clear that this is a (Hale) pack-centric series—and while Sterek does take center focus in a lot of it, it is not solely a Sterek-centric series. The previous title reflected the first 6 short fics, as those were Sterek-centric, but the bulk of the series is about pack and what that means to each of the characters. Since the Hale pack symbol/tattoo is important, I thought this new title captured the focus of the series much better.*
