I'm not a fan of Loki/Darcy, generally. Most of the time when I see that ship, it seems to merely be a response to Kat Dennings dating Tom Hiddleston.
But then there is this fic. Wow.
It becomes easy, quickly, to understand how sympathy would spark between them. Nobody ever really notices them, respects them, or cares how either of them feels. So I was sucked in to this world and the camaraderie that begins in the cramped little room in which they meet. So many people owe Darcy sincere and profuse apologies. And by the end of the story, it's easy to understand why Loki feels equally misunderstood and rejected.
I'd kill for this to be a series!
