🌜 First Encounter
Their first meeting took place in Diagon Alley, when Miharuki tried to reach a book on the highest shelf. Her cauldron lid accidentally fell on Daniel’s foot, which made her feel flustered as she quickly apologized. Miharuki noticed that Daniel was carrying a cauldron too, so she asked if he was a Hogwarts student like her. To their surprise, they met again in the same house—Ravenclaw—and sat next to each other in the Great Hall, as if fate itself wanted them to be together on their journey at Hogwarts.
🌜 How They Did Become Close?
They began to become close after Miharuki discovered that Daniel was good at brewing potions during their first Potion class. She always wanted to dye her hair, but her skill of making potions wasn’t good back then. So she asked Daniel to help her, and decided to go to the Forbidden Forest together with Hagrid as their guide. She found that searching for ingredients in the Forbidden Forest was thrilling, and she gladly helped him to find more potion ingredients whenever he needed them.
She also joined the dance club, and to her surprise, Daniel was there too. She wasn’t great at dancing, so she mostly stepped on Daniel’s foot. His patience wore thin, so he ended up scolding her and was determined to train her properly. In truth, he simply wanted her to be his one and only dance partner.
Daniel and Miharuki naturally grew closer since they both enjoyed pranking the Frey twins. She had a strong interest in potions, but was not always successful. So she asked Daniel to become her mentor. In return, since Daniel’s dueling skills were not as good as Miharuki’s, she gladly offered to train him to become a better duelist.

🌜 When Did Their Love Begin?
It’s unknown when their love their to blossom, perhaps it started when they became comfortable around each other? They were both uncertain about it. Miharuki began to realize her feelings after Ivy casually pointed out how often she mentioned Daniel’s name. Meanwhile, Daniel realized he was in love when he found out that Miharuki and Colby had secretly cared for the baby dragon that Shouren had stolen from the Ministry. Confessing their feelings terrified both of them. Miharuki feared that Daniel didn’t feel the same, while Daniel had something he was more worried about—his family’s secret, and the safety of her mother and sister. Romance was the last thing on his mind. Even so, he couldn’t deny his feelings. He craved more and more of her presence. He had protected her from danger multiple times, and couldn’t hold back his tears when Miharuki collapsed from a Dementor’s attack.
🌜 If You Asked Them Why They Fall For Each Other...
If you asked Daniel, he would show a faint smile and tell you that he had fallen for her because of her sincerity, thoughtfulness, and acceptance despite his imperfections—then slowly whisper “...also her cuteness,” while hiding his blushing face. On the other hand, if you asked her, she would confidently say, “Because he doesn’t mind me being weird 24/7!” and laugh. After that, she would gradually get embarrassed and add that she had fallen for him because she felt comfortable and safe being herself around him. They could talk about countless things without getting bored with each other, and he protected her many times, even while dealing with his own problems.
