Chapter Text

“Turn the past to the future and make this man turn into his past,” the wizard said as he cast the spell toward Captain Marvel. The spell struck Captain Marvel on the chest in a big burst of lightning. Everyone there watched as Captain Marvel turned into a small child about the age of 10. The child had on clothes which people in ancient greek wore. (I forgot what they're called) They then watched as the small child fell to the ground as he passed out.

The last thing Billy remembered was standing in the middle of what looked like a battlefield, then he blacked out.

As he woke up he noticed that he was somewhere warm and soft, a little too soft in his opinion.

He opened his eyes to the sight of a man in a black suit that has two pointy things coming from his head, with a black cape covering his body, a woman in a red, gold, white and blue outfit with black hair and tan skin, and another man with black hair, tan skin but darker than the woman's, a red and blue outfit with a cape, and kind blue eyes.

“Who……who are you people? Where am I?,” Billy asked as he looked at the other people in the room.

The man with the red cape looked confused and the woman looked at him understanding. 

“Hi, I'm Wonder Woman but you can call me Diana,” the lady, Diana said, “and you are at the Justice League watch tower.”

“What's a Justice League,” Billy asked in confusion.

Diana looked at him for a moment then asked, “what's the last thing you remember.”

“I….I… umm… I'm not sure. I mean I remember stuff I just don't remember what I last remembered,” Billy responded.

Diana turned to the other men in the room and said something that Billy couldn't understand. The man with a red cape looked at him then back at Diana. The man in the black cape nodded, then he walked over to Billy. Billy flinched back away from him as he walked over a little too fast for Billy's comfort. The black cape man stopped then walked slowly over to him until he was a foot from the edge of the bed.

“Hello, I'm Batman, do you remember who you are,” the man, Batman, asked.

Billy thought for a moment then answered, “ya, I'm Billy.” (pretend it's a Greek name plz)

“Do you know of someone by the name of Captain Marvel,” Batman asked. That question got the other two in the room to stop talking to each other and wait for the answer.

“I'm sorry, I don't know anyone that goes by that,” Billy answered.

Batman went back to talk quietly with the other two people in the room. The two that spoke Greek told the other what was happening.

Billy wondered what they were saying but he couldn't hear them from over where he was sitting so he went back to looking around the room. His eyes landed on the window and the view outside of it. It was the stars and galaxies that drove Billy to get out of bed and walk over to the window to look out of it to see it better.

Clark watched as Batman talked to the small boy on the bed and then walked over to them.

“He doesn't know who Captain Marvel is so he most likely forgot his memories about his future,” Batman said quietly so the boy couldn't hear.

“Are we sure the kid is even Captain Marvel? He has a heart beat, something I know Captain Marvel doesn't have,” Clark responded.

“We all saw Captain Marvel turn into the child, but I do agree that the child doesn't seem to have magic like Captain Marvel does,” Wonder Woman said in response.

“For now let's just keep an eye on him until we can bring Captain Marvel back, then we can ask Captain Marvel who the kid is,” Batman said.

“Where will he even stay? None of us have room, or know what he properly needs,” Clark said.

“He can stay with me,” Batman said, and walked away ending the conversation. He walked over to the kid, who was now by the big window looking out into space.

Billy looked over his shoulder as Batman walked over to him. Batman could walk quietly but Billy could still hear him after years of being able to hide from people.

“You're coming home with me kid,” Batman said.

“Why can't I just go home,” Billy asked.

“Your home no longer exists,” Batman said. While he placed a hand on Billy's shoulder, “but we will help you get back home. You just need to stay with me until then, ok?”

Billy just nodded as tears pricked his eyes. Batman must have noticed, since he pulled Billy into a gentle hug.

“Let's take you to your new home, ok?,” Batman asked gently. Billy just nodded into the older man's chest as he hugged back.

“Ok.” Billy responded as he held onto Batman just a little tighter.

Billy held Batman's hand as they walked to the zeta tube.

“There's going to be a flash of light then we'll be somewhere else,ok,” Batman asked, and Billy just nodded.

They entered the zeta tube, and Batman entered Ina a code. Before Billy knew it he was in a large cave. There was a kid in a black and red suit with a cape that looked like wings, sitting in a chair in front of a large computer.

Tim was having a nice day. He finished some reports, got a decent amount of sleep, and he was now working on a case. Which made him suspicious. It has been a long time since he's had a good day like this, so something bad is bound to happen.

He heard the zeta tube signal Bruce's arrival. “Hey B,” he called, not looking over at him.

“Red, I want you to meet our new guest,” Bruce said.

Tim knew that voice. It was the same voice he used when he brought home the demon spawn. He just sighed and said, “B, if I turn around, and you have another small child I will personally take away all your rights to adopt children.”

“I'm not adopting, they just need a place to stay until they can get back home,” Bruce responded.

Tim finally turned to face his father and the ‘not a new sibling’ kid. And oh, wow, the kid has black hair and blue eyes. The kid's definitely going to become his new brother.

“You have a problem B,” Tim said flatly.

“Like I said, I'm not adopting them. A mishap happened, and Captain Marvel turned into a kid,” Bruce said.

“I thought he was living lightning?,” Tim asked.

“I thought so too. I'm not sure on the logistics, but we'll ask him when we turn him back,” Bruce answered.

“Do you know when he'll be turned back,” Tim asked.

“I'm not sure, Zatana and Constantine are working on it though. They said something about magic being complicated, and that they can't just turn him older, they need to find out what spell was used to counter it, and a whole bunch of magic nonsense I still don't understand,” Bruce answered. 

“Well I'm going to change out of my suit and go upstairs to tell the others we have a temporary brother,” Tim said as he walked to the changing area of the cave. 

He heard the kid say something in a different language. He's pretty sure it's ancient Greek sense; he remembered that Captain Marvel once said his native language was ancient Greek. After he changed he headed up stairs into the living room where his siblings were. 

Dick (on a work break sense he wanted to spend time with his siblings) Grayson was sitting on the couch, Jason (I'm only here for Alfred's cooking not because I missed you guys) Todd was sitting on the other side of the couch doing Steph's hair, Cass (Tim stop cataloging why everyone's home) Chain sat watching everyone from the rocking chair, Duke (the sociopath that patrolled during the day) Thomas was sitting next to Dick showing him a meme, Steph (I'ma take over the world with glitter and luck) Brown was sitting on the floor in front of Jason as he did her hair, and Damien (demon spawn) Wayne sat next to Jason reading a book.

Cass was the first to notice him, then Damien, Jason, Steph, Dick and Duke.

“I know that face… Please tell me there's not another kid Bruce magically acquired out of thin air,” Dick pleaded, while the others just sighed or groaned at the thought of Bruce getting another child.

“Tenticaly they're just a 'temporary' brother,” Tim answered. At Cass's head tilt he elaborated. “Captain Marvel turned into a kid.”

“How?,” Jason asked.

“Magic,” Tim answered.

Dick looked two seconds from running to meet his new ‘temporary’ brother.

“I think it's best if we wait for Bruce to introduce us,” Steph said pointedly at Dick.

Dick sighed and said, “Fine, I'll wait.”

“Father has a problem,” Damien said from where he read his book, and there was a chorus of agreement from the rest of the bat clan.

“So master Bruce has gained another child,” Alfred said from beside Tim. All the kids jumped in surprise. Of course the older man always appeared out of nowhere.

“Only 'temporary', just until Captain Marvel can get turned back into himself,” Tim answered.

“Very well then I'll prepare a room for the young sir,” Alfred said as he walked away.

“Who was he,” Billy asked curiously.

“My fourth eldest son,”(Duke will forever be older than Tim) Batman responded. “Why don't we get you some more appropriate clothes.”

“Why? What's wrong with my clothes?,” Billy asked.

“They're not really common in this place,” Batman responded.

“Oh…Why?,” Billy asked.

“We made more comfortable clothes to wear,” Batman responded.

“Oh…Ok,” Billy responded.

“Now let's get you changed,” Batman said, leading him up some stairs.

Bruce was happy he had some old clothes of his other children, and that Billy was roughly the same size as Damien, maybe a bit smaller. Man Billy is small, he looks a little too tiny to be honest.

After Billy changed into the clothes Bruce asked, “how old are you?”

“10. Why?,” Billy asked.

“Just wondering kid,” Bruce answered him. Man he was small for his age, but then again ancient Greece was a different time, still Alfred will help get him healthy looking. Speaking of that, he needed to talk to Alfred about getting Billy food he could eat.

“What language were you speaking?,” Billy asked.

“What?,” Bruce asked.

“When you were speaking to the other person. What language was it?,” Billy asked.

“English,” Bruce said.

“Can you teach me it sir?,” Billy asked.

“Sure, and call me Bruce kid,” Bruce said.

“Ok, Bruce,” Billy said, and he practiced saying Bruce until he got it right.

Bruce just ruffled his hair, planning to introduce him to the other gremlins.

Chapter Text

Billy thought that the clothes were a little weird in his opinion. Like how are you supposed to get stuff done with how tight the clothes are. Yes they're loose, but not as loose as his normal clothes.

“Do you think you're ready to meet the rest of my child,” Bruce asked.

“Do any of them know Greek,” Billy asked. Some might think Billy's not that smart, but he's great with awareness. So he knows(thinks) that Greek probably isn't common here. And considering that Bruce said that his home no longer exists further proves his theory that he's either in a different time, most likely future, or his sister's crazy idea of different worlds is true.

“No, but I know it and I'll be teaching you English soon,” Bruce says.

“Ok,” Billy said, as they walked down the hallways. Billy's a little confused about why the walls are made of wood, but who is he to judge?

After a short walk they enter a room with the kid from earlier, and five other people. A man with black curly hair and tan skin. One with black hair with a white streak in the middle and tan skin, but a shade of from the other man. One with short black hair and dark skin. A kid with black hair and dark tan skin. A blonde haired lady with white skin, and another lady with black hair and light tan skin. And of course the black haired kid with pale skin from earlier.

Billy held Bruce's hand as he talked to his kids. Billy couldn't understand him but he waved at them when they waved at him.

Dick looked at his new ‘temporary’ little brother and already decided that he was family. It didn't matter to him that the tiny child in front of them was a de-aged Captain Marvel, but Cap. was always really nice to him and everyone around him.

He made it his personal goal to welcome the kid into the family. So when Bruce left with Billy to go help Alfred with what types of food Billy could eat, he turned to his siblings to say, “So how much are we betting on B kidnapping Cap. and keeping him as his child even when he turns back?”

“50 bucks, and all of Tim's coffee,” Jason snarks.

“Hey!,” Tim responded.

“All the glitter in my pockets, which in fact is a lot more than you think,” Steph said.

“I would like to think that father wouldn't do that, but considering his tendency to accumulate children I believe he probably will,” Damien remarks.

Cass just signs her agreement.

Billy looked at the older looking man that Bruce said their name was Alfred, but Billy knew that wasn't true. Well Alfred could be his human name but Billy could sense that this person was touched by the gods and given a gift from them.

So when Billy tilted his head and said, “Soteria,” Alfred just smiled and responded with a simple shake of the head.

Bruce looked back and forth at them confused, but he knew if he asked it would be a losing game.

Bruce and Alfred talked to each other while Billy looked around at what seemed to be a dining room.

It reminded him of the dining halls at home. The thought of home made tears pricked at his eyes. He wondered if he'll be able to see his family again, or at least what's left of his family. 

Billy didn't realize he was crying until strong arms wrapped around him. He melted in the touch as he cried. He missed home.

“What's the matter Billy?,” Bruce asked.

“I want to go home,” Billy responded.

“I know. How about I take you to your room so you can get some rest,” Bruce said. Billy just nodded as Bruce picked him up and carried him to the room he'll be staying in for now.

Bruce tucked him into bed. Billy hadn't realized how tired he was until he closed his eyes and fell asleep.
