A singular shrill sound rings through the crowd. Somehow the floor cracks through the stage. A pool of dread floods Lyney’s thoughts. He finds that he is stuck in place, the panicked voices of the Fontainians muffled. “Lyney we have to go now!” Lynette says, urging him towards backstage. He hasn't seen her panicking since.. no, now is not the time. Lyney snatches his siblings by their arms, desperately weaving his way through the crowd.
Or,
In which the prophecy is fulfilled and the people of Fontaine are dissolved. But what will be the fate of the hearth? Just where will their spirit’s travel?..

The Justice League attempts to contact the ruler of the Infinite Realms to deal with a massive disruption that they are unequipped to handle. It goes… interestingly to say the least.
Fair warning: All my DCU knowledge comes from Danny Phantom fics and the last time I actually watched DP was about a decade ago. Take that as you will.

Summary
Peter Parker, who worked three jobs and fantasized about being a rat dad, was going to read a smutty romance novel about a world where people had subgenders and biological imperatives and knots.
" Wait a minute...", he took the book and read the title, the word 'knot' standing out.
He barked a laugh. Then another, before cackling for a minute. Coughing and wiping tears from his face.
That book was unhinged.
And he was going to enjoy it.
Probably.
He hoped.
He turned back to page one and started reading properly this time, because if he was going to understand what the hell happened on page 57, he needed context.
Context was important. Context was responsible. Context was...
<< Richard Grayson has three problems: He is Dick. He loves beautiful creatures. He is the beautiful creature. >>
Peter snorted again. This was going to be a ride.
