Summary
She had spent every moment since the war in tense limbo, waiting with bated breath while the universe decided whether Neji would live. Once he was discharged from the hospital, Tenten could finally breathe. Neji was alive. He was going to live. Everything would be fine—but nothing would be the same.
That was the crux of her problem, really. Tenten wasn’t looking at this as Neji’s teammate. Those lines were blurred beyond recognition long before they entered the battlefield. And maybe that was her fault. It wasn’t like they were a couple, or anything. Not officially. She and Neji were good friends who happened to satisfy their other needs together.
