This story was inspired by a prompt from 300 Writing Prompts:
Prompt #27 — “If you could do one thing every day for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?”
As part of a new series, I’ll be writing fanfics based on random numbers chosen by friends, each tied to a prompt from the book I own. This is the fifth in that project.
When Ginny Weasley brews a love potion, she’s certain Harry will finally look at her the way she’s always wanted. But when her attempts fail, not once, but twice, Harry is left unsettled and determined to figure out why. The answer he finds in a dusty Hogwarts library book is both maddeningly cryptic and perfectly clear: love potions cannot override a devotion that is already whole, already mirrored.
For Harry and Draco, hidden away in the Room of Requirement, the truth doesn’t need any translation.
