Pearl wasn’t quite sure how long she had been here for, days? Months? Weeks? Hours? Minutes? Seconds? Surely not years… pearl wasn’t that far gone that she would be able to blank out years on end. Right? A simple head movement resolves the ache in her neck quickly, a pop as her bones snap into place, she should walk. She isn’t sure where, after all she isn’t quite sure there is actually a concept of ‘where’ anymore. But something in her brain, perhaps her will to survive, tells her she can’t stay here.
