Summary
Nothing could distract Daniel from the gothic vampire romance and string of benders that were the 1970s. Except a mysterious new illness that’s killing his friends. Suddenly, the boy is a man, flung back to earth and drowning in grief. His nights belong less to Armand and more to documenting the deaths and the movement building up around him. His demon familiar copes with these changes in his boy poorly. Daniel’s work draws Armand’s unwilling focus to the apocalyptic nightmare that is and was the AIDS crisis, and he is confronted by a world where all the boys he loves are dying.
