Robby had a bad day.
Not that there was ever a “good” day when you worked in the ER. But some days were better than others, and some days were much, much worse.
And today’s shift wasn't the worst ever. But it had come at the end of a long week that saw several patients lost and multiple breakdowns from members of his team. Robby was worn thin from dealing with it all day in and day out.
And so, when he trudged into his apartment on Friday night, he threw down his bag, slipped into a comfy pair of sweats, and opened Grindr.
