Chapter Text
I woke up with a cats fat ass on my face.
”Hrghh…. Hhhh…. huh….? AAAGHHH!!!”
I coughed and spluttered, throwing Gargamel off me. He landed to the floor daintily, and sat down, eyeing me as I suffered from the aftertaste of cat butt.
”Ugh..! What the hell, man? What was that for?” I pouted at the cat, scratching my head as I looked over to my bedside table at my alarm. 6.30AM. You've gotta be kitten me.
”Gargamel!!! You little shit!!!” I groaned, falling back on my bed.
Gargamel simply sauntered out of the room, farting as he left, just for good measure.
Good riddance.
I stood up and stretched, yawning as I did so. Sigh… may as well get ready while I’m up.
I looked at my new uniform that hung ready in my closet. Right, I had something to look forward to today. New school, new experiences. Too bad it had to start with the distinct smell of cat shit…
I made sure to wash my face thoroughly as I took a shower. I dressed in my uniform and went downstairs to make myself breakfast.
Dad wasn’t here. As per usual. Not that I minded. At least I had Gargamel. I guess.
I threw some bread in the toaster, and then checked my bag to see if there was anything I forgot.
Spreading butter and jam on my toast, I checked the time. 7.45AM. I still had a few minutes until I had to walk to school. May as well spend it wisely…
By playing Roblox!
I munched on my toast as I played Total Roblox Drama to pass the time. Gargamel came up and pawed at my leg. Sighhh. This fatass had the nerve to ask me for food after allat…
With much reluctance, I poured some cat food into his food bowl, and water in the other.
”Bitch.” I muttered to myself as he ate his food.
He seemed to hear me say that, as he shot me a glare from the corner of his eye as he ate. I took a few steps back out of sheer intimidation. What the fuck?
Sighing as I walked away, I checked the time again. 8.27AM. Yay…! School…...!
I grabbed my bag, checked my face in the mirror, and left the house.
***
I walked through the gates.
Holy goshness. This school is massive. Hopefully I don’t get lost… I thought to myself nervously.
Walking through the building, I looked for my classroom.
Balls. This would be so much easier if I moved her from the start. Currently, I’m in the 2nd year, but a month or two have passed since the start of school. It’s not like I had to move, but I just felt like I wasn’t living up to my potential in my old school. It was a normal, average, and boring place. Nothing ever happened.
The highlight of my days, were really the nights. Since my dad was (and is) never home, I usually snuck out and practised exorcising dangerous supernaturals. I would dress in comfortable sporty fits, grab my spirit staff, and head out. Of course, my dad would probably disown me if he found out I did this.
The L/N Clan. A pretty famous clan among exorcists, but not only because they were fierce and formidable. More so because they really disliked women being exorcists.
My mother was forced into a marriage with my father, to bear a healthy little boy. So when I was born instead, you can imagine the kind of remarks my father’s side would shoot at her. If fact, she received so much emotional abuse, that it took a toll on her mental health. Badly. So, she tied a rope, and bid farewell. Of course, I was only an infant, so I had no significant memory of my mother. Still. I fucking hated my dad.
I’ll prove them all wrong. I’ll prove to all the useless little mysoginists in my dad’s family that I’m capable, girl or not. I’ll show them how lame and old their beliefs are because bro it’s literally the 21st century.
“Erm. Are you lost?”
I snapped out of my train of thought and looked at the guy who called me out.
