Summary
Yuuji’s childhood is haunted by the ghosts of Sukuna’s hands, as he taught his nephew how to hate.
But now, Yuuji’s turn has come to do justice, and be the one to teach his uncle a lesson.It makes sense, too, what he is doing now, holding the knife in his hand and knowing his blood isn’t destined to be spilled to feed the beast still. Sometimes he wonders if it was his fault for following Sukuna when he’d shown up in front of his school with his car the first time, or if it was Sukuna’s fault, for using Yuuji to soothe his own hunger. Perhaps, he finds himself thinking now, steps slow and relentless as he walks down the path of time itself, a procession to the inexorability of entropy, it was no one’s fault. Perhaps, it was always meant to happen.
Perhaps, this was just fate rolling the dice and moving them on a game board through a losing game.
