Summary
He just wished Molly would admit what it was she had dreamt about, so that she could get it out of her head and go back to bed. But that wasn’t how this night was going to go, and Andrew half-knew that when Molly didn’t immediately spill her thoughts to him like she normally did. Did she have to be so difficult? Couldn’t she just read between the lines and accept Andrew’s cagey, morphed version of brotherly care for what it was?
No. No, she couldn’t, apparently, because the silence after her statement dragged on. She wasn’t filling in the blanks tonight. She was waiting for Andrew to fill them. The sooner Andrew did so, the sooner it would be over, so Andrew turned his face back toward the landscape in front of them, and:
“Yeah, well, you're an exception,” he muttered, barely audible.

Andrew and Aaron Minyard have a younger sister, and she has a nightmare. Andrew joins her on the roof to listen to her talk about it, but she is in a challenging sort of mood tonight and isn't in the mood for Andrew's careless facade.
