There was a rabbit on the moon--an unaging celestial being disjointed from the affairs of the Heavens and disinterested in the matters of the Earth. For he neither cared not for the open palmed Gods requesting for his presence, nor the upturned heads of mortals who glanced at the gleaming moon hung high in the night skies.
He was a mere little rabbit, with his little palace on the moon, surrounded by little fields of scintillating, heavenly herbs.
