In front a Raging Storm where 2 Girls gaze at it with Shock and Awe, unable to maintain their composure while gazing at it Destroying their Hometown.
Girl with Blue Hair: “No... No, no! Max! Do something!”
Max (Girl with brown hair) continued gazing and panting.
“Max?” The Blue Haired Girl called, “Max! MAX! WAKE UP!”
When Max regained her conscious, she saw The Girl with Blue Hair and asked: “Chloe?”
Chloe (Girl with Blue Hair): “Max, please do something! Use your Powers, use anything! Just make that Stop!”
Chloe pointed at The Storm eating away Their Home, however, Max looked down and clenched her teeth.
Chloe: “What are you waiting for?! Go! Save Them!”
“I CAN’T!” Max cried and Chloe stepped back in shock.
Max: “I can’t.... If I do, then....”
Her eyes showed so much Grief gazing at Chloe which pushed Chloe to understand the warnings.
“Wa-Wait...” Chloe hesitated, “You’re not saying--.”
Max: “You will Die!”
The Girl with Blue Hair was Emotionally struck in that moment; she placed her hands on her head and tried to comprehend what she just heard. But then, one look at the Storm drove her to a state of Hysteria.
Chloe: “No, no, no! I don’t deserve to live where they all die! Everyone in Arcadia Bay, My Mom, My Stepdad... They aren’t the best, but they don’t deserve this! I don’t deserve to live where they die! Max! Please, help them!”
Max was not able to reply; she knew what the Correct Answer was.
Chloe: “Max! I’m the Most Narcissistic Person on the Planet! I’m a Bitch! An Asshole! I don’t deserve to Live if it means Everyone dies! Use your Powers, Max! Use your Powers!”
Max: “NOO!!!”
Max’s cry increased Chloe’s shock.
Max: “No... Chloe, I don’t--.”
Chloe: “No, you are not pulling this on me, Max Caulfield, you are Using Your Powers This Instant to save them! I’ve abused you so many times and Now you’re growing a Spine? Listen to Reason!”
*Thudd*
Max hugged Chloe in that moment and spoke with tears falling from her eyes: “For once in my life... Just this once... I want to be Selfish....”
“What...” Chloe spoke blankly, “Are you saying...?”
Max: “I’ve listened to you my whole life, I was always Selfless and put others first, but this time... This time... Please let me be Selfish....”
Chloe: “Hundreds are Dying... Men, women, children, Our Parents, Our Friends! And you’re pulling this shit right now?!”
“I CHOOSE YOU!!!” Max screamed her lungs out, tears covering her cheeks.
Moved by this, Chloe’s eyes started dripping tears as The Storm continued eating away her home.
Chloe: “You fool....”
As she gazed at the storm taking everything away, her frustration took over as she pushed Max off her.
*Slam*
When Max hit the ground, Chloe tried to muster anything to say, but she could not as her tears and pain were vividly visible on her face.
“Should’ve let me die.”
Max sat on the ground gazing at Chloe, who moved angrily away from her.
Max: “Chloe--.”
“STAY AWAY FROM ME!” Chloe yelled and Max froze, “You had a choice... And you chose to Burden both of us....” Chloe did not hide how much she hated Max’s decision.
Max: “Chloe, I--.”
“Zip it.” Chloe interrupted Max again, “You wanted to be Selfish? Well, you can be Selfish alone.”
When Chloe walked away, Max sat down and stared at her trembling hands, hardly able to breathe. But then, she looked at Chloe’s silhouette getting harder to see and could not help but smile and say to herself: “At least I know you were saved....”
*Drip*
Her tears continued falling despite her smiling, she completely broke down after making her Final Decision.
“A Town was Sacrificed to save 1 Person.”
