Kokushibo was thrilled to become a demon and work under Muzan.
For once in his life, his boss did not seem like a strict, stuck-up man who would come to him, demanding he do better. Just like his father and just like the head of the Demon Slayer Corp did.
“Master, pardon my irreverence. But may I ask your age?” he asked one night after Muzan had gone to check on him and his training.
“I be at present 499 years of age,” was his answer.
