    Elle wrenches his face to the side, where he’s still just visible in the mirror. He blinks, clearing his vision. He whimpers when he realises what she wants him to see. The mascara and eyeliner is smudging with his tears, beginning to streak down his face in pathetic black lines. He already looks ruined when he cries without makeup. This is just a little more embarrassing. He tries to pull away, but her nails dig in.
    “I want an eidetic memory,” Elle mumbles.
