Before you could have responded and she could have continued, you saw his eyes, molten yellow and his face, consumed by rage. He stared at you from under a hood, and you couldn't breathe. Your hands shot up to your throat, trying to see what was choking you, only to be met with nothing.

And then you felt it. The fire. It crawled up your leg, quickly devouring you, scorching your skin. As the woman continued her song, you tried to listen but it's drowned out by screams.
