Chapter Text
Ashes walked over to where Raph was hanging up bats and handed another one to her. She nodded in appreciation and they went back to where Jonny, Nastya, and Tim were carving pumpkins.
"No don't stab Jonny with the knife, its for carving the pumpkins, NOT your brother." Nastya grumbled something about him being a hypocrite while Tim turned back to his pumpkins. Jonny was carving something on his pumpkin but he wouldn't let anyone else see. His brow was furrowed in concentration. He wanted this to be just as good of a Halloween as Tim had back on earth. Maybe even better. Tim was making the classic carved pumpkin while Nastya was making an outline of a small pumpkin holding a knife. It was surprisingly spooky and fit with the theme of the room. Marius was putting up cobwebs and 'fake' blood with Brian. Toy Soldier was trying on a costume while Ivy was in the kitchen.
Aurora was playing some earth song called 'This is Halloween' and everyone swayed gently with it. Except Jonny, who was focused on his work. TS pranced into the room, thankfully wearing it's normal outfit. It had been ordered not to wear it's costume while they were setting up. It began to help out Marius and Brian with the cobwebs. It somehow knew the lyrics to the song and sang along while putting up the decorations. Ashes kept trying to look at what Jonny was making, but he kept pulling away. Ivy swept into the room. She held up a plate of cookies all iced in the shape of pumpkins, bats, and skulls.
"Everyone is required to try at least one and give feedback on how good it is. I tried out a new recipe and I don't know how it turned out. The pumpkins are pumpkin flavored, the bats are chocolate, and the skulls are cinnamon." Everyone gathered around to grab a cookie. Except Jonny. He was too busy putting the final details on his pumpkin. Ivy glared over.
"I said everyone is required to try one. Whatever your pumpkin is, it can wait. What are you making anyways?" Jonny looked up from his pumpkin and grinned.
"Oh just the scariest thing I could think of." He flipped his pumpkin around to show the others. Ashes doubled over laughing, Marius and Brian looked taken aback at first but quickly joined them. Ivy and Nastya rolled their eyes, while TS and Raph also grinned. Tim kissed Jonny on the cheek causing him to blush.
"Its perfect love."
On the pumpkin were the words "Roll with advantage." The image showed two d20s that rolled a natural one. Tim was right. It was perfect.
