After he was released from his wretched prison of a elevator, the mirror entity, still retaining the appearance of Kim Soleum went around exploring the outside for the first time. He saw many things, and many types of people. Soon enough, he got bored of wandering around and tried to think of new things he could do. Maybe he should pay his savior a visit.
He knew that everyone that entered that elevator was working for Daydream, so that's where he set off to. He found Soleum walking away from the building, probably off from work, and followed him back to his dorm. When Soleum was showering, he saw a pink bunny plush. He looked through his side of the mirror to stare at the plush, wondering why Soleum would keep such a childish plush with him. Perhaps it was a human thing. Maybe they get attached to small key chain plushies possessed by ghosts like himself.
Thinking about it, this was probably his savior's close friend, so he put on his best smile and gave a little wave to the plush. To which the plush didn't seem to react, though the air seemed to darken. "Braun? Did something happen?" His savior called out with a pinched voice through the curtain of droplets. It was at that moment he remembered that humans seemed to have a sort of societal etiquette, as he had observed after his time released into the world. Thinking on that more, maybe it would be rude to show up unannounced. Maybe he should make his presence be known, so as to not startle his savior.
But what could he do? Though he was free he was still a mirror being, confined to reflections and no voice to interact with the real world. Mirror Soleum mimed at the plush that he was visiting to say hi. Or tried too. It was hard to communicate through charades and when the recipient couldn't respond either. At least he assumed that the plush couldn't respond, until he heard an elegant voice echo in his mind. "Quite rude to visit someone in the shower, don't you think? Impostor?" Mirror Soleum frowned. He didn't like being called an imposter.
His savior was kind enough to give him his own form. As Soleum's friend, shouldn't the plush like him more because he was essentially just like Soleum? He felt dejected. This rabbit was mean. The impassive eyes of the pink plush stared at the sad face of the reflection. The face stolen from his Good Friend.... it looked exactly like Soleum.... Braun felt himself feeling kind of bad. It's almost as if he made his Good Friend sad.
"Hm, not imposter then. I shall merely call you a reflection for now. Well? Out with you! What do you want here?" Mirror Kim Soleum did his best to mime his reason for visiting, before pointing to his own face. "My, what audacity! The only one who is important is my good friend, not you!" The Mirrored Kim Soleum frantically shook his head, trying to convey to the plushy that it had the wrong idea. "Braun? Braun, what's wrong? Why aren't you answering?" That was... Kim Soleum. His voice sounded panicked, which made the Mirror Kim Soleum even more nervous and guilty. The plush bunny's voice disconnects, and he could hear Kim Soleum's voice in the other room speak with himself aloud. "Wait, the mirror me? What does he want- huh? What? No, Braun, I don't believe that- I'm not calling you a liar! I- fine, you can talk, I'll go make my lunch." Mirror Kim Soleum can hear Kim Soleum huffing from the other room, and can hear him storm off- probably to cook something for nutrition.
Mirror Kim Soleum wished he had the need to eat. He wondered what taste was. "My apologies." The pink bunny plush had reconnected! "I was merely conversing with my... friend for a bit." Mirror Kim Soleum attempts to follow Kim Soleum and move through the reflective surfaces in the house, but then suddenly finds himself stuck on the same surface he was currently on. "...What?" "Forgive this Braun! It's mere precaution, you see. I wouldn't want anyone to disturb my good friend's rest, even if its a version of my good friend." Was the bunny plush rejecting his existence...? "Worry not, mirror creature, for this form will graciously accompany you for the time being!" The bunny stood up and did a twirl, and so Mirror Kim Soleum clapped out of politeness. It was a very good twirl. Mirror Kim Soleum wondered about the pink bunny and what it was.
The pink bunny stared at the mirror entity for awhile looking lost, Braun felt a bit bad, it looks like this entity has truely no idea what to do with themselves. Just then, a magnificent idea came to Braun. "Mirror creature! Since you looked so lost, would you like to join this Braun in a new endeavour?" Mirror Soleum looked back at the pink bunny, confused. "Listen, since my last talk show cohost has quit, I am now in the needs of a new hire! Someone who would suit this magnificent Braun well!" "What do you think, mirror entity that looks like my Good Friend, would you like to find another purpose in your new freed life?"
Before Mirror Soleum could answer, he felt himself getting sucked away, along with the sound of the pink bunny talking to himself. "Hmm, he may be mute, but a mime section on a TV talk show would always be popular with the audiences, even if we can't broadcast this onto the radio." Kim Soleum was confused, why was Braun insisting he watch the new talk show on Tuesday? Nonetheless, he booted up the TV to the talk show anyway. As the starting credits fade way, Soleum jumps out of his seat as he sees himself and Braun looking straight at him, waving. So this is where his mirror self went. "Isn't it great my Good Friend! Now there is two of you and the show..."
Kim Soleum screamed to himself.
