You were on a picnic date at a really nice and calm local park with your boyfriend who youve already been with for a while now. You were sitting under some willow trees, surrounded by vibrant flowers, in a perfectly peaceful spot infront of the golden shining lake.
Daisuke looks around the park, adoring the lake infront of you two. Soon his gaze lands on the flowers around you and he leans over to pick some small periwinkle ones so he can show them to you. He turns to you and reaches out, allowing you to take the flowers from him.
“Look! Theres some Forget-Me-Nots!” He beams, his eyes sparkling in awe at the beauty of the flowers. You gently take the flowers out of his hand and slowly spin them between your fingers, careful not to drop them. “Oh, really? Is that what they are? Theyre gorgeous..”
“Yeah! Apparently they represent loyalty or something. My mum used to teach me all about them when i was younger! Like.. Poppys, carnations, cypress vines, hibiscuses..” Daisuke droned on happily, staring at the way the lake glittered in the sunlight.
You nodded along as he continued to list some flowers he had learnt about before ending the list at red spider lilies. He turned back to you once again, catching your eyes looking into his at the same time. “Its probably why hibiscuses are my favourite..” he ended with a chuckle.
You hummed softly, leaning closer to him to put a couple of the Forget-Me-Nots that you were previously holding behind his ear. You smiled softly when you pulled back, your eyes full of warmth. He wrapped an arm around you and pulled you closer to rest his head on yours, looking out into the lake with you.
