Summary
When one has an eternity to live through, life tends to be different. Each day starts to blend into the next, turning from a slideshow of experiences into simply a fog of existence. It was clearly a curse but one Mydei had long since gotten used to. When he was born, he was hailed as the Crown Prince of Castrum Kremnos, the sole heir of King Eurypon and Queen Gorgo, and his people trusted him to bring a new era of prosperity to them. Instead, he had to watch as his people were slain by their own madness and watched his nation burn. A promise made to save his people left him cursed to wander through life alone for the rest of eternity and the one person who he'd entrusted his heart to locked away by a group who claimed undying faith to Kephale.
Over 5,000 years later, he finds himself finally giving his heart to someone else - a human man named Phainon who seems to be the living embodiment of the sun. For the first time since he'd lost everything when he was a young man, Mydei finally finds something worth living for.
