Work Text:

Sitting in one of the decrepit booths of the abandoned diner, cherry red hair can be seen sweeping across Party’s face. Making direct eye contact underneath them in the same bench is Ghoul. Both of their eyes locked on each other waiting for the other to make a move. Party leaning in a bit closer and smirking, Ghoul’s hands itching to pull them down by the collar and make them lose focus.
“You realize you’re not gonna win right, Gee?” Ghoul immediately pulls back to see if Party will do anything in retaliation. A small smirk playing across their lips as they track Party’s movement. Party smirks as they slide into Ghoul’s lap.
“Soundin’ really sure of yourself, Frankie.” A subtle challenge as a gloved hand wraps itself in the fabric of Ghoul’s shirt hauling him in closer, faster than he can think. Ghoul’s own hands finally catch up to his brain as they yank Party down by their unzipped jacket.
“You keep starin’ like ya wanna kiss me, just lose already.” Ghoul bites his lip thinking he’s really got this one in the bag. A small giggle pervading the air, breaking the silence of the diner. He’s been taunting Party hoping to make them crack if he plays and toys with them long enough.
“You wish, motherfucker.” Party takes Ghoul’s shades and puts them on top of their own head, knowing Ghoul sometimes prefers Party marked by objects of his or other signs Ghoul had been with them prior. They play to their advantages especially because it’s been a while since the couple got privacy. Party pulls on Ghoul’s necklace, making him look up, acknowledge how the space had closed between them. “Keep starin’, baby.” Party ducks their head in closer, lips almost brushing before they hear the door to the diner pop open. Ghoul being the first to look at the intruder. He levels them with a glare before a frustrated growl makes it way out of his throat. The position they were caught in and he was so close to winning.
“What the fuck, Ray?!”
