"...We could as well do the groceries while we're here," Ray suggested jokingly.
"Oh, hell no," Gee laughed, ruffling her hair.

Summary
Frankie really hadn’t planned on trying out for the university’s cheerleading squad at all. In fact, she was almost certain that she had been possessed when she signed up for tryouts. But Gee Way was a force of nature, so maybe Frankie should not have been so surprised. When Gee approached her on the quad with a flyer and a bounce in her step, Frankie knew she’d say yes to whatever Ponzi scheme she would have to offer.
What she didn't expect was to harbor a big fat crush on her new team captain, let alone for that same captain to return those feelings.

Summary
Frankie was very (very) high, lying on a couch, as her favorite local band was recording demos for their first album.
The frontwoman walked out of the recording booth, and their eyes locked. “Oh hi Frankie, I didn’t know you were here,” Gee said. Her eyes almost closed as a smile spread across her face.
Frankie’s face felt warm.

Summary
Mikey Way was a really clingy drunk. She’d get touchy with friends, offering hugs and such, but she was particularly clingy when it came to Frankie. And whenever she’d float away for a minute or a few, she’d return to wrapping around the shorter’s arm, or waist, resting her chin on her neck from behind, or just playing with her hair. Sometimes all three at once.
To be completely honest, it flustered Frankie. It sent a buzz down her spine and a flush to her cheeks. She felt embarrassed thinking that of her friend, but she couldn’t help it.
