Scar flops down in Impulse’s bed, face down, shirt thrown on the floor.
He had done a lot of heavy lifting today while building and he’s exhausted.
His boyfriend sits down next to him, having invited him over for dinner.
Now it’s late and they are both tired so Scar’s crashing at Impulse’s side of the mountain today.
Impulse sits down on the bed next to Scar and leans down, pressing a kiss to Scar’s shoulder blade.
Scar shivers at the contact.
Impulse does it again, pressing a kiss to his boyfriend's other shoulder blade.
Scar shivers again, this time rolling over onto his back.
The vex hybrid wraps his arms around the demon hybrid, pulling him down against his strong chest.
Impulse yelps a little, surprised by the action.
“Hey there.” Scar says, exhaustion heavy in his voice.
“Hello.” Impulse says back, smiling.
Scar presses a kiss to Impulse’s lips, gently running his hands through chestnut brown locks dyed a brilliant yellow.
Impulse reaches over, turning off his lamp, plunging them both into darkness.
“Goodnight.” Scar says softly.
“Goodnight.” Impulse echos, pressing another kiss to Scar’s lips, still pulled close against the vex hybrid’s chest, falling asleep safely in those arms.
