Summary
For years, Lucifer and his daughter Charlie have lived peacefully in their woodland cottage on the outer skirts of Eden, practically cut off from those who fear their innate magical abilities. Amid growing tensions between humans and dragons, Charlie is shown a vision of a future rife with danger and uncertainty for her family and the fate of Eden as a whole. A confrontation between her father and the crimson dragon from her prophecy named Alastor threatens to tear everything she loves apart, leading Charlie to unwittingly set off a domino effect that will call everything they thought they knew about their world into question.
Forced to take his daughter and flee with Alastor from Adam and his dragon hunters, Lucifer struggles with being thrust into a world he doesn’t understand. Inexplicably finding themselves drawn together, Alastor and Lucifer might just learn it is possible to live in peace. However, dark forces are brewing in Eden, threatening bloodshed and turmoil for humans and dragons alike. With a foot firmly set in both worlds, Charlie, Lucifer, Alastor, and their allies must bring both sides together or face the fall of dragon and human kind to the darkness hidden in the depths of their hearts.
