Post Canon Chaos

Summary:

Small look into the chaos of ChangMing, HuaSheng, and LangTu being friends and parents.

Notes:

Set in the canon rewrite world of my other ChangMing fics.

Chapter 1

Chapter Text

Chang Yu watches his Boss's son Hua Sheng and his friend's son Lele stick stickers on his puppy's face. While also keeping on his and his puppy's daughter YingYing having a childish debate with one of her uncles Hua Yong about who is the prettiest princess. 

Her, him, or another of her uncles, Shaoyou currently holding her on his lap. Looking amused and close to laughing aloud at his husband and niece arguing so seriously but so childishly. 

All the adults in the room look towards Lele and Hua Sheng as they start to have their own argument about their future marriage.

Pinming gives his alpha a look for help as their daughter is pulled into the argument by the two little boys.

"It's okay puppy you didn't need to stop this, and our daughter can take care of herself." Chang Yu tells his puppy with his eyes as he smiles at him.

"You look even cuter as a piece of Lele and Hua Sheng's artwork." He says as he walks over and kisses his husband's sticker covered face. Right where there is a sticker that matches the mole under his left eye. 

Pinming blushes and hides his face in his alpha's shoulder as their daughter stands up on his boss's lap. Looking very much like miniature him when he is standing up for himself and his family.

"I don't want to marry a boy. I want to marry uncle Tutu's daughter." YingYing announced after Lele said he wanted to marry her. While Hua Sheng said he wanted to marry Lele.

Gao Tu and Wenlang who had been watching everything from the kitchen go bright red as they both touch Gao Tu's stomach.

"How did you know Gao Tu is pregnant, YingYing?" Hua Yong asks his niece with a grin on his face saying he also already knew his omega best friend was pregnant again with his wolf of wolves pup, and curious how the little girl knew before the official announcement from her uncles.

"I heard uncle Tutu telling uncle Youyou he was pregnant with a girl in a group call with daddy." NingNing answers as she points to her daddy Pinming.

"I want to marry her." She announces again as she jumps off Shaoyou's lap and runs to the kitchen. Her little hand goes up to touch Gao Tu's stomach.

Gao Tu and Wenlang crouch down to be eye level with their niece as they look over her head to Chang Yu and Pinming with a questioning look of are you sure she isn't Hua Yong's kid?

Chang Yu growls protectively and possessively out over his puppy who is pulling himself back together against his shoulder in a clear answer. He is very sure YingYing is his and his husband's daughter. 

Because he can recall every detail of the fun they had together for many months straight trying to have her. One of those major details being no one else was in their bed with them in those months. Especially not his Boss.

Shaoyou finally lets himself laugh out loud as he holds Hua Yong's hand. Embracing the newest chaos his life with his husband continues to bring to him. As their son follows Lele around like a stubborn little shadow. As Lele becomes YingYing's shadow.

Chang Yu and Pinming sit together on the floor as Gao Tu and Wenlang announce rather simply that they are indeed expecting a little girl in six months time. 

And they chuckle as their bosses' joke about who will marry who. In the far away future weddings of the three couples' kids.

Chapter Text

Chang Yu is taking off his jacket and tie as he steps into the grand living room of his friend and Boss's place after getting off of work for the day. He sees his puppy sitting on the large couch in the living room. Beside their friends Shaoyou and Gao Tu. 

He picks up that they are talking about pregnancy pains, and how tired Gao Tu looks as he grows closer to having his second child. A little girl, his little girl and princess declared boldly she would marry one day. He isn't sure if the pregnancy or his friend Wenlang in his hovering, overly protective mate mode is what was making Gao Tu so tired this pregnancy.

He hears Wenlang calling his Boss his favorite nickname for him, and sees his daughter YingYing and his nephews Hua Sheng and Lele huddled together, peeking into the kitchen, and giggling.

“No matter what you call me. It's not going to change what I've said into being wrong. Wenlang with your brain cells and actions before words mentality.”

“You would be much better suited as a member of the mafia. Instead of a CEO who is asking me of all people about how best to prepare for raising a daughter.” Chang Yu catches Hua Yong telling Wenlang.

Before he starts casually tossing an apple around while striding away from their friend who is growling at him to let him hit him just once. He can tell this is a circular argument and that they are both holding back using pheromones on each other because of everyone else in the house.

Chang Yu is almost run into by his daughter and nephews as they dash past him to go to their other dads’.

"Dad. Daddy. Baba. Come play mafia with us, and uncle Hua Yong and god-pa Wenlang." Lele, YingYing, and Hua Sheng say together as they tug on Gao Tu's, Pinming's, and Shaoyou's hands as they look towards the kitchen where Hua Yong, Wenlang, and Chang Yu are now standing in the entryway of, having a conversation with their eyes to not fight.

"Mafia?"

"Where did you hear that word from, Peanut?" Shaoyou asks his son as looks at his ghost orchid while checking on his friend Gao Tu who had drifted asleep between him and Pinming mid conversation.

“Dad called god-pa Wenlang that and then god-pa Wenlang started chasing dad.” Hua Sheng answers.

“Peanut. We've talked about you calling uncle Wenlang. God-pa.” Shaoyou addresses first before moving his focus to the game of mafia his son, nephew, and niece want to play.

“Dad likes it when I call uncle Wenlang god-pa. He says it's funny that I call uncle Wenlang differently. And I like doing it too.” Hua Sheng says with honesty he knows that his baba likes. With a pout so much like his dad’s. Shaoyou puts his hand on his temple. Feeling a headache coming on from how much his husband and son are alike.

Chang Yu sympathizes once again with his Boss's husband. Turned his friend for having to deal with his Boss in double on a daily basis. As he picks up his princess and kisses his puppy hello.

"Okay. So how you three want to play mafia is kind of like playing tag?" Shaoyou seeks to clarify with the three kids still looking at him and their dads’ to come play with them. As he leaves, being pouted out of fixing what his son calls Wenlang for later.

"Yes!" YingYing, Hua Sheng, and Lele quietly but excitedly shout as they pick up that Gao Tu is sleeping. Five of six parents smile at their children before Shaoyou taps his son on the arm.

"And now you're the mafia. Peanut." Shaoyou says as he gets off the couch and steps towards his husband as Wenlang takes his place by Gao Tu.

"Come on YingYing, let's run from Hua Sheng." Pinming and Chang Yu tell their daughter as they run off as a happy unit.

"Okay.~" YingYing says with a soft giggle. Her tiny footsteps patter softly around the living room after she is put down by Chang Yu as she runs off to other parts of her uncles’ home, her dad and daddy with her. As friend Hua Sheng follows them.

"Go that way Peanut and we'll go this way." Hua Yong instructs his son as he gets his arms around the waist of his husband. Pointing out the cut off points so that Chang Yu, Pinming, and YingYing can't go very far out of the living room.

"Tag me first!” Lele shouts as he runs up to Hua Sheng. While watching his dads’ snuggle together on the couch to keep an eye on his growing little sister inside Gao Tu's stomach. He's tagged immediately and out of the three vs three mafia game of tag, and he goes to snuggle with his dads' and sister.

Gao Tu wakes up with a start and sits a little more upright on the couch as his son climbs onto his lap. So he can take in his friends, nephew, and niece having fun together running around the living room.

"We've caught you." Hua Yong says as he picks up YingYing and twirls his niece around the room. As his husband and son tag Chang Yu and Pinming.

"Let's play again!~" YingYing shouts with laughter as her feet touch the floor again. Grabbing and holding on to her uncle's hand at being a little dizzy from being twirled around.

“Yes. Let's play again.” Hua Yong says to his niece with a hunting grin towards his husband at getting to chase him again. The uncle and niece hold hands as they chase after Shaoyou who is running around the living room in circles. While being bodyguarded by Hua Sheng, Chang Yu, and Pinming. 

"Caught you." Hua Yong and YingYing say together as they hug Shaoyou from behind and the front after getting him away from his guards. 

Before Hua Sheng takes YingYing's place. As Pinming picks his princess up and Chang Yu picks them up and brings them to sit together in the living room. With Wenlang, Gao Tu, and Lele who had been enjoying watching the game, and talking about how much more chaotic a game of mafia will be in the future with six parents and four kids.

Chapter Text

“What are the bags me, Lele, and Hua Sheng helped uncle Tutu packed, for?" YingYing asks her dads' as they drive home from her uncles Wenlang and Tutu's place.

Her friend Hua Sheng is also going home with her uncles Hua Yong and Youyou with a similar bag to store at his house.

"They are overnight bags for your uncle Tutu when he gets admitted to the hospital to give birth to his daughter in a couple weeks."

"We made one for each of our houses just in case uncle Tutu goes into labor there, so he has some of his own stuff to ease his stay and let him leave the hospital in his own clothes." Pinming explains to his daughter as his husband drives.

"Do you want to know a secret about those bags, princess?" Chang Yu asks his daughter after his puppy finishes explaining what the game of pack a bag she played with his nephews was for.

"Yes!" YingYing shouts as she leans forward in her booster seat.

"Those bags are more to make your uncle Wenlang comfortable rather than your uncle Tutu. So your uncle Wenlang knows your uncle Tutu is always prepared to go to the hospital." Chang Yu tells his princess and his eyes crinkle up in a smile as he sees his daughter pick up on her uncle's over planning for his daughter's birth.

When they get home. YingYing takes charge of storing the overnight bag she packed and she has her dads' take a picture of her with it in its storage space to let her uncle Wenlang know he can be comfortable with being prepared to go to the hospital from her home at any time.

She gets a thank you text back. And her dads' get something they don't show her, but it makes them laugh.

The game of packing the bags. Turns into a game of guarding the bags and making sure they are where they should be as the three families visit each other's homes.

"When is my sister going to be born? I've been waiting foreverrrrr." Lele questions and whines as he holds the bag he packed on his lap. His eyes on his dad's large round stomach. His friends YingYing and Hua Sheng are sitting beside him in his home, and they get curious as well about meeting their new friend.

"Soon." Wenlang answers simply to his son's question. Having answered the same question every day recently. Each answer getting shorter until it's either a word or a noise that means soon.

"She'll be born when she's ready.. like right now." Gao Tu answers his voice soft and then tightening with pain as a contraction cramps his stomach.

"Really, right now?" Lele, Hua Sheng, and YingYing question together. All looking at Gao Tu's stomach with wide, expectant eyes.

"Yes. Right now." Gao Tu replies with gritted gentleness as his hormones and pain filled body make him want to yell at his wolf of wolves.

"I'll go get the car ready." Hua Yong says as strides away from his alpha's side and grabs the overnight bag on his nephew's lap. Knowing his friend is in labor for real before his friend's wolf.

Chang Yu grabs his princess and holds her as his puppy calls the hospital to let them know Gao Tu is in labor.

"Come on Peanut. Let's go meet your dad in the car." Shaoyou says as he picks up his son and puts him on his shoulders. So his hands are free to help Wenlang and Pinming get Gao Tu down to Wenlang's car.

"Bunny. Is our daughter really on her way?" Wenlang asks his husband. A processing look on his face as he plays catch up with everything going on.

"Yes. Shen. Wen. Lang. Our daughter is coming. Right now!" Gao Tu grits out his hand crushing his husband's. In an attempt to punish him for getting him pregnant again, and to hold back releasing his pheromones too strongly as he soothes himself with them.

"Don't you dare forget Lele." He says his temper shortens as his wolf and his friends lead him to the front door.

"Come on Lele. Let's go meet your sister." Wenlang mutters as his hand gets squeezed bone breakingly hard at the same time he grabs his son and carries like a rolled up carpet against his side.

The garage is full of curious questions from kids as Gao Tu gets settled in the passenger seat of his husband's car. Parental voices and small releases of iris, orange, orchid, chrysanthemum, and sage pheromones say the couples are communicating with each other. How to best handle the trip and stay at the hospital. While gentle yet swiftly answering questions.

Pinming rides with Gao Tu and Wenlang to look after Lele. As his alpha looks after their princess. Hua Yong and Shaoyou bring Chang Yu, YingYing, and Hua Sheng with them. Different but more organized chaos happens when the large three couple family arrives at the hospital entrance.

Gao Tu and Wenlang go to the delivery room right away to welcome their daughter into the world. 

Their son stays with his friends and uncles. Chang Yu, Pinming, Hua Yong, and Shoayou deal with the endless questions from Hua Sheng, YingYing, and Lele about when they can see their new friends, and little sister. As they watch the minutes and hours of Gao Tu's labor pass by outside the delivery room.

By the time the Shen family daughter is born all the other children are asleep in Chang Yu and Pinming's arms. While Hua Yong holds a sleepy Shaoyou to his chest.

But the peace of sleep doesn't last long. When in the early morning hours. YingYing, Lele, and Hua Sheng sneak into Gao Tu's recovery room.

Followed quickly by the adults who were trying to be quiet as they gathered up the curious kids. But ended up drawing a cry from the newborn baby girl resting in her dads' arms. From all their quick motions, and hushed but commanding voices.

"Welcome to your first day with your chaotic family Shen Lulu." Gao Tu says to his daughter with a tired but beaming smile as he kisses her head. While looking out at his, never a dull moment family from the embrace of his protection and proud wolf of wolves.
