Ralsei wandered around Castle Town. He was doing all of his usual things, checking that everyone's stores were running smoothly, checking that everyone was behaving.
He wished he had a better way of telling the time. Surely it would be time for Kris and Susie to show up soon.
It seemed like they had been coming in later recently. Ralsei tried not to think too hard about it. They were probably just busy with school.
Just as he was about to go back into his castle to triple check everything was in order, he heard the sound of the two heroes jumping down the fountain and into castle town.
He rushed to to greet them as quickly as he could. They both looked really tired.
"Kris, Susie!" he smiled, "I've been waiting for you!"
Kris stepped forward. Not saying anything, they grabbed him by his scarf and started walking over to the castle. Susie following close behind.
"Kris!" he spluttered, grasping Kris' hand, trying to loosen their grip.
As soon as they felt him, they let go, muttering an apology.
"That's okay, Kris", Ralsei laughed, "Why are you so adamant on taking me up to the castle anyway? I always follow you where ever you go."
Susie let out a long exaggerated sigh, "We actually had to pay attention in school today because exams are coming up, so we're exhausted", she complained.
Ralsei giggled, he always found how dead set Kris and Susie were to not do their school work amusing.
"Don't laugh, idiot", Susie groaned, "We've been studying with Noelle, and she's been pushing us to actually try. So now, Kris is doing better on tests and Alphys is expecting more from them and making them do extra things with Noelle and Berdly, and they're expecting me to stay with them while they do the extra work even though I don't have to do it."
Susie punched Kris on the shoulder, causing Kris to smirk.
"Kris! that's wonderful!" Ralsei beamed, "You didn't tell me that."
He was glad that Kris was doing well in school, even if it meant that they might be a little more busy than normal.
Kris just shrugged, by now they had reached the bedroom door. They pushed it open and walked in, letting Susie and Ralsei follow behind.
As soon as they walked into the room, Kris walked over to their draws. They carefully started to take off their armour and pull on something more comfortable.
While they were doing this, Susie busied herself pushing her bed over to Kris' so they could be next to each other.
"What are you doing, Susie?" Ralsei asked, starting to help her.
"All three of us aren't going to fit onto one bed", she said simply
They successfully got the bed up next to Kris'. Susie took off her spikes, placing them on Kris' draws.
"All three of us?"
"Yeah, its group nap time", Susie declared. "Me and Kris were just going to go back to theirs, but we didn't want to leave you out", she explained.
Ralsei blushed, glancing over at Kris who was already situated on the bed.
They patted the space next to them, gesturing for him to come lay down.
He smiled, carefully taking off his glasses, he set them down next to Susie's spikes.
Then he padded over to the bed, climbing in and snuggling up next to Kris.
"You're cute", they told him, pulling him into a hug. "Missed you", they mumbled into him.
Ralsei must have been blushing furiously by now. "Kris, you saw me yesterday", he laughed.
Kris pulled away from the hug slightly, pouting. "I can't miss you after one day?" they asked.
"Hmm, I guess you're right", Ralsei relented.
He squeaked as Kris grabbed his ears, starting to stroke them gently.
One of the things he was most surprised about when he started dating Kris and Susie was how much they both loved playing with his ears.
Something else that really surprised him was how much he liked it, how much it comforted him.
For his whole life, living alone, he craved someone to be there to give him physical affection. He hadn't realised how nice it would be to finally get it.
He was snapped out of his thoughts when he felt Susie climb onto the bed behind him him.
"Krisss", she groaned, "Don't hog his ears!"
Kris stuck their tongue out at Susie, then pressed his ears back flat against his head. "What ears?" they asked.
Susie scoffed as she climbed further onto the bed, "You know what I mean, dumbass"
"Um, It's okay, Susie, I'm sure there's enough of me to go around", Ralsei said.
"Yeah, roll over, Rals", Susie nudged him, "Then we can get one ear each, it's only fair."
Ralsei sighed, that wasn't exactly what he had meant, but he rolled over all the same. Letting Susie start playing with one of his ears.
By now, Kris had let go of his ear. Instead they were burying their face into the crook of his neck. They nuzzled into him.
Ralsei didn't know how getting their nose so close to his fur didn't make them sneeze. He question it though, he was too grateful for the attention.
"So did you two come to Castle Town just to nap?" he asked.
Susie shrugged, "Pretty much", she said, "Big day."
On the other side of him, he could see that Kris had already fallen asleep.
"They sure snore loud for someone so small", Susie commented, "Don't know how Asriel put up with it for 15 years"
"Susie!" Ralsei chided, "Don't be mean, they can't help it."
Susie simply pulled Ralsei into a quick kiss.
Ralsei was once again blushing furiously, "You don't need to kiss me every time I tell you off."
In response, Susie just kissed him again.
She laughed, "Dude, even in the dark I can tell its, like, impossible for you to get redder right now."
Kris let out a particularly loud snore, causing Ralsei to snicker slightly.
"See, you're laughing too!" Susie accused, "They're lucky the don't snore like this in class, they'd never get away with sleeping all class if they did."
Ralsei smiled, turning his head away from Susie slightly to look at his partner. "Do they snore like this when you two have sleepovers?" he asked.
Susie shrugged, "Toriel hasn't let us sleep in the same room since we started dating, at least not with the door closed. I think she thinks I'm going bite Kris' hand off or something, don't know what that has to do with us dating though, and hell, I'd do that in public!"
Ralsei nodded, "Please let Kris keep both their hands", he joked, moving his head to rest it on her shoulder.
"Hm, maybe", Susie murmured sleepily.
It wasn't long before she drifted off to sleep too. She was snoring even louder than Kris was, drooling too. Not that Ralsei minded.
In fact, he didn't know if he had ever been more comfortable than when we had sandwiched between his two partners.
Soon enough, Ralsei too fell into a peaceful sleep.
About an hour later, Ralsei woke up.
The first thing he noticed was that one of his ears felt very damp.
He turn his head to see Susie idly chewing on his ear. It didn't hurt, but it was an odd sensation.
"Susie?" He whispered, unsure if she was even awake.
Susie made a non-committal "hm" sound, shifting around a bit.
"Could you please, um, stop chewing on my ear?" he asked.
Susie dramatically spat out his ear. She pouted for a moment, before reaching over him and grabbing Kris' hand to put in her mouth instead.
This gestured cause Kris to wake up too. They playfully kicked out their leg, aiming for Susie. They accidentally kicked Ralsei instead.
Ralsei let out a shocked bleat.
Kris started to sit up a bit, "Shit, sorry, Ralsei" they muttered, pulling their hand out of Susie's mouth and flicking her on the snout.
"You bleat often, Rals?" Susie teased, pulling him into a noogie.
Ralsei tried to splutter a response, but couldn't get anything out. To his horror, all he did was bleat again.
Susie released him from the noogie but started to laugh harder. She was sure re-energised after the nap.
Next to them, Kris had laid back down and looked like they were about to fall back asleep. Clearly unbothered by all the commotion next to them.
Susie was over excited though, and she wasn't about to have that. "Kris, don't go back to sleep, idiot", she scoffed.
Kris groaned, but sat up properly. They turned to face him, pulling him into a quick kiss. "Sorry for kicking you", they mumbled.
Ralsei laughed, "That's okay, Kris", he smiled, "I know you didn't mean too."
"Hey! Where's my kiss!" Susie complained.
Kris smirked, they crawled over over Ralsei, ending up in his lap. They knelt up, using his legs as the extra bit of height they needed to reach Susie's face, they pulled her into a kiss.
Ralsei looked up at them. It was clear Kris had only intended to give Susie a quick peck, like the one they had given him, but Susie had other idea's.
When they pulled away from each other. Kris backed against the wall, face bright red.
Susie laughed at them, "Not so nonchalant now, Dreemurr", she teased.
Kris buried their head in their hands.
"How long do you think your mom would make you go to church for that one?" She went on.
"Every day for the rest of my life." Kris responded dryly.
Ralsei giggled, even though he wasn't really in on the joke. As much as he would like to, he had never met Toriel, but he had heard a lot about her.
"Hey Rals, I'm hungry. You got any food?" Susie asked.
Ralsei looked up at her. "Of course Susie, but wouldn't it be better to go to the light world and get food that would actually fill you up?" he asked.
Susie shrugged, "I'll eat fake dinner here, then real dinner at Kris'"
Ralsei accepted that answer.
Climbing over Susie, he got out of bed and put his glasses back on.
He turned to leave the room, Kris and Susie followed close behind.
"What do you want to eat, Susie?" He asked.
Susie thought for a moment, "Hmm, maybe one of your cakes?" She suggested.
"I can make cake, but that's not dinner", Ralsei pointed out, laughing.
"Gonna have real dinner at Kris' anyway", Susie pointed out, "Right, Kris?"
From behind her, Kris nodded, giving a thumbs up.
"Okay! Cake it is then!" Ralsei declared, clapping his hands and summoning a cake out of the cauldron.
This time, Susie did not catch the whole thing in her mouth. She waited for Ralsei to catch it on a plate, and split it up between the three of them.
Susie at her cake in one bite, Kris picked off little bits at a time, nibbling at them.
"Kris, eat quicker so someone might steal you're cake", she teased.
Kris looked up and began to howl.
Susie punched them in the arm, "Stop acting like a dog, dumbass"
Ralsei laughed at the antics of his partners as he ate his own cake.
All of his life learning the about the prophecy. He never could have imagined just how happy with with the two other heroes would make him.
