Sonic’s decision to leave Eggman to his new life as the woodsman Mr. Tinker was nothing short of a massive gamble, but after seeing him permanently retire his dreams of despotism in spite of his renewed memories and play a vital role in stopping the Metal Virus from spreading any further, he’s more than confident that the risk was all worth it, and is ready to take things slow for a change.
So why is he having these sudden migraines? Why is he recalling haunting, crestfallen memories that never happened? And why is that fennec who keeps staring at him so eerily familiar?

Susie felt strange after that kid in class whispered something to her the other day. She had a terrible night after that, and questions she isn't equipped to answer linger around, demand someone to answer them. She sees this girl in class who pays attention to her... and she thinks, if anyone, this girl would listen. She would be willing to hear what she's thinking about.
Together, in the trees, as the sun sets... they try and talk about who they are. They try and fail to change the ways they are as people.
They don't hold onto this memory, as much as they might have wanted to.
