In the aftermath of Vecna's earthquake, the residents of Hawkins begin rebuilding their town, thinking that the horrors are behind them, but one small group know it's only just the beginning. The gang are all together, taking turns venturing into the woods to keep the town safe, and helping out at the school rehoming people, while Eleven helps families find their lost loved ones. The town are even starting to come around to the idea that maybe, just maybe, Eddie Munson wasn't a villain, and him and his uncle, now staying in a rather luscious house kindly gifted to them by the government, should in fact be left alone.
But they aren't the only ones that know the truth, and they aren't the only ones out for Henry's head, a girl, in hiding since 1973 is finally coming back to fight for everything Henry took from her.
AKA: A Steddie fic about them getting together while everyone also fights Vecna and a OC {Lucy Cunningham} who was kidnapped in 73' and escaped Hawkins lab pre massacre returns from the upside down seeing the horror her old friend Henry has caused.
