“That went well, dont’cha think?” Airi stretched out her arms as she walked down the street with Minori. She always tried to keep moving after an MV shoot- not only was it good for the body to cool down with light movement but it kept her from feeling down after finishing a project she’d been working on for so long. Even if she didn’t put into words, she wanted to keep Minori from feeling that emptiness as well. So, after finishing the final duo scenes for the video, Airi was quick to invite the other girl to walk home together.
“Yeah! I wasn’t sure how it would go just being the two of us, but it was so fun playing at the beach with you.” Minori replied with her usual cheer. Her stamina was starting to outpace Airi’s, after a full day of running and dancing she looked ready as ever to keep going.
“Sure it was fun and all, but I’m getting hot. Wanna stop and get ice cream?” Airi proposed.
Minori’s face lit up. With such busy schedules, they rarely had time to enjoy a meal- or treat, in this case- like this. “You mean it?”
Just as the pair turned the corner, they saw the sign for a convenience store. Eager to cool off, they quickly ducked in. Luckily, the freezer section was right by the entrance.
“Airi, look at the poster here- ice pops are half-off today! It’s the kind that splits, so we could share one!”
“Oh? Want that then? You can’t argue with a good deal.”
And just like that, the girls left the store, popsicle in hand. As Airi put her change away (she insisted on paying), Minori carefully broke apart the strawberry-flavored treat halves.
“I wish we could film together every day ♡”
