   Jack rolled his eyes just for show before he gave Dana a thoughtful look. “You get along with your in-laws?”
   Dana let out a sharp burst of laughter. “When I’ve got to and when it counts.” She tipped her head. “Why?” Jack shrugged dismissively, suddenly uncomfortable despite the fact that he’d been the one to bring it up. “Come on, spill. You always clam up when you get to the good stuff.” Jack knew she was only teasing him, if he really pushed back then she would back off. Dana was pretty great like that actually.
   “I was just thinking of having them over. To see JJ, maybe have dinner.” He shrugged and flipped the paper in his chart just to have something to do with his hands. “Her birthday is coming up.”
