Summary
Sebastian Sallow realized he had been dead for a while. He had returned as a ghost, and now he roamed freely through the castle halls. Bored and permanently tied to the castle grounds, he started planning his mischief in an attempt to attract attention from the living.
It irked him, then, that no one else could see him except for one-a newly sorted Slytherin girl, Silver Grimshaw, who wielded the art of lost magic. She was the only one who flinched when he passed through her, the only one who seemed to notice the faint chill he cast on the air.
He knew she held the key to his next step.
More critically, Sebastian knew his time was limited. Even as a ghost, he was bound by a silent countdown. Failure to comply with this 'deadline' would mean he could not ascend into the afterlife, and his very existence would simply cease.
