Infinity Crisis: A Series of Loosely Canon Events

Summary:

A series of dubiously canon snippets that supposedly take place in the Infinity Crisis series. Whether or not they're apart of the main continuity or just glorified omakes is undetermined.

As such, everything in this fic is dubiously canon until the other IC content creators make their decision.

Chapter Text

“Finally!”

Doctor Ivo Robotnik, better known by his moniker of Doctor Eggman, grinned as he looked at the dimensional gateway he’d built.

Finally, he could return to his home universe and resume his global conquest of Mobius! Sure, he knew his Badnik Horde were probably a mess and that Metal Sonic might’ve staged another coup thanks to his absence, but this was hardly Eggman’s first time dealing with such things

“Now.. to add the final piece...” From his pocket, he pulled a seemingly ordinary USB and plugged it into the gateway. It activated and so did the gateway, a blue dimensional rift opening within it. “Yes! YES!”

He let out his signature laugh as he could already imagine what he’ll do first upon returning home. Perhaps he’d follow through on that island archipelago he’d recently caught wind of? Or maybe-

WOOSH

Startled from his thoughts, Eggman looked and saw the gateway was sparking as the rift stretched and shifted. “That.. that doesn’t look right...”

This was strange. Eggman had built several gateways just like this one without much issue, such as when he teamed up with Wily and Bowser (speaking of, he should really visit the Koopa Kingdom again at some point) on occasions.

So why was-!

The rift suddenly became vacuum and began pulling everything into it. Yelping, Eggman took off running. While he wasn’t as fast as that blue pincushion, he had still once upon a time been able to keep pace with that meddlesome hedgehog during their earlier encounters.

But despite his best efforts, he tripped and yelled as he was pulled into the rift. “NOOOO-“

His cries cut off as he entered the rift, the gateway exploding behind him.

Leaving no trace of its existence, except for a highly damaged USB.

“Doctor?”

“Hm?” Eggman was pulled from his musings as he turned to face the floating figure before him. It was a young human girl with milky white hair and skin, which along with her red eyes, one would mistake her having some form of albinism, if it wasn’t for the red highlights and glitching that showed it was instead a projection.

“Yes, what is it, Sage?” Eggman furrowed his brow. “Is it that weird girl in the pig mask?”

“No. She has not made a reappearance since we drove her off using the Titans last time.” Sage dutifully reported.

“Good. Then what is it? Have you found a way to get me out of this place?”

This ‘place’ was a technological marvel known as Cyberspace. It was a frankly bizarre thing, easily one of, if not the, most advanced pieces of technology he’d ever laid eyes upon. It made the Nocturnus Clan look like their primitive Knuckles Clan rivals! This entire digital plane wasn’t held in any device or computer, existing entirely separate from technology yet connected to ever single appliance on Mobius!

“I have run one million seven hundred thousand and fifty simulations since you last asked.” Sage responded. “There is no scenario with out our current resources to safely remove you from Cyber Space.”

“Unacceptable.” Eggman scoffed, waving a hand. “I’ve escaped several dimensions before with less that what I have now.”

“You are referring to White Space.” Sage titled her head, a hand going to her chin in thought. “It’s nature as a limbo outside of normal space-time might provide a method of escape. I will begin running the simulations at once.”

“Good.” Eggman grinned. “I see you’ve familiarised yourself with the backups I gave you?”

Eggman was referring to the personal backups he kept in his goggles, one that contained all his top-secret files that even the Eggnet didn’t have access to and blueprints that were protected behind seven different passwords and several recognition software’s.

When you’ve dealt with plenty of foes, be technology, magic, or techno-magic, it never hurt to be paranoid.

“Of course.” Was Sage’s only response before she hesitated. “I.. did notice some files that you did not give me access to?”

“What’re yo- Oh.” Eggman looked bitter. “Those were from my father.”

“Julian Robotnik? The former Advisor to King Acorn and the one who conquered the Acorn Empire.” Sage noted.

“The same.” He scoffed. “Good riddance.”

“But.. he was family, was he not?”

That took Eggman by surprise before he growled, taking her aback. “Let me make on thing clear, Sage. That man my have been one of the two sources of my genetics, but that is as far as his ‘father’ role extends to.”

“I.. see...” Sage recorded those words. “I will be sure not to make that mistake again.”

“See that you don’t.” Eggman tapped a few buttons on his Egg Mobile. “Now, anything else to report?”

“Just one more thing.” Sage replied. “I managed to gain a brief glimpse into the Eggnet, however it was only a remote viewer. It would seem your theory of Metal Sonic staging a rebellion was indeed correct.”

“Figures.” Eggman wasn’t even surprised at this point. “Did you leave any trace?”

“Negative. The dimensional physics of Cyber Space left no trace of my scrying.”

“Then that’s all that matters.” He started the Egg Mobile’s engines. “Get back to trying to find a way to get me out of this digital dimension. Make it your number one priority.”

“But..” Sage watched him take off. “Keeping you safe is my priority...”

That was why she was trying her hardest to keep him within the confines of Cyber Space, to protect him from when it wakes up.

The End.

A primordial devourer as old as the universe itself, one who had destroyed the ancient chaosians who colonised the Starfall Islands and brought the Chaos Emeralds to Mobius thousands of years ago, near the end of the BC(Before Chaos) era, back when it was known as 'Earth'.

From what Sage had found during her remote access to the Eggnet, there were already two devourers known as Galactus and Unicron who were ‘prophesied’ to do battle at one point. And if they were anything like the ancient’s texts described The End as, things were too dangerous for father to leave Cyber Space at this time.

When her creator first put her AI into the dimensional gateway, he somehow managed to connect to the gateway on Starfall Islands, granting Sage her sapience. However, what he didn’t know was that it also showed her visions of the multiverse at large.

A serial killer who could kill people by killing them in their dreams.

Armies of aliens seeking to either destroy, conquer, or assimilate.

And the most fear inducing of them all, the one thing that eclipsed all their power, was a dark figure sending waves of antimatter across the multiverse.

There is only one possible scenario I can imagine that would lead to Doctor Eggman’s salvation.. Sage internally thought, an imagine of a grinning blue hedgehog coming to mind .. but until he authorises it, I cannot take that risk...

Thus, with a feeling of deep sadness in her ‘heart’, a feeling she did not truly understand, Sage teleported out.

Hoping against all odds, she wouldn’t fail her purpose...

Notes:

Figured I’d show what Eggman is up to whilst Neo Metal is making his plans. Also made some references to Pre-SGW Archie by having Robotnik and Eggman be two separate people; albeit they’re father and son rather than alternate versions of the same person. Also the Nocturnus exist with Julie 'Shade' Su having shown up pre-Advance 3.

My logic is that The End, being the Sonic-verse planet devourer, is on par with fellow planet eating gods such as Galactus and Unicron, at least as far as IC is concerned. As for the Titans being able to fight off Meddler.. since she's just a regular human empowered by Uatu and the Titans can rival Super Sonic, it makes sense and helps show that despite all she says, she's not the omnipotent controller she proclaims herself to be.

Destiny Islands; sometime ago

"There!"

Riku and Kairi looked over as Sora held up the sliced star-shaped fruit with a victorious grin.

"What're you doing?" Riku raised a curious brow.

"Are those for us?" Kairi asked.

Nodding, Sora held out the other two sliced paopu fruit. "Kairi and I already had one before, back before we went off to fight Xehanort at the Keyblade Graveyard-"

"And now we're all going to fight against the Master of Masters." Riku grimly noted as he and Kairi took their respective piece of the fruit. "But.. you and Kairi already ate it, why do it again?"

"Because you're here this time." Kairi caught on to what their shared boyfriend was implying, facing the silver-haired teen with a small smile. "Whatever happens after this battle, if one of us has to go away again.. lets make sure we'll still be together!"

"We don't need a papou fruit for that." Sora pointed out with a smile, catching his boyfriend and girlfriend by surprise. "Our hearts are already connected and once they've connected, they never ever let go."

"Huh. That was.. Surprisingly profound." Riku said with a slight teasing smirk. "But if you're so sure, why suggest we share a papou?"

Sora just shrugged, his smile not changing. "Do you need a reason to do something with the people you love?"

"Does wanting to do something with them count?" Kairi quipped as they all shared a laugh before noticing the sun setting on Destiny Island, drawing all their attention to it.

After a moment of silence, Riku spoke up with a serious tone. "This battle will be one of the toughest we've ever thought up until this point..."

"And going off what that guy said to Sora, it won't be the last..." Kairi frowned as she thought about 'Krueger' and 'Megatron' and the other names Sora told them all about.

"But no matter what happens, no matter what they through at us, we'll face it together." Sora finished as the others nodded with their own determined smiles.

Earth-2002; Present Day

"So this'll keep all those other universe's guys out of our one?"

Sora, armed with the X-blade, faced four of the most powerful light magic users in all of Universe-2002; Yen Sid of Mysterious Tower, Merlin of Camelot, Fairy Godmother Goodfairy from Castle of Dreams, and Evangeline the Blue Fairy of Prankster's Paradise.

"Close, dear.." The fairy godmother told him. ".. while such a task would be possible for the X-blade's power.. doing so is also quite foolish."

"'Foolish'?" Sora blinked.

"Well, yes!" Merlin stated as if it should've been obvious. "Those threats are plotting their devious schemes and we can't just let them succeed now, can we?!"

"That is why you'll only be sealing a portion of our reality from access." Evangeline informed. "That way, we'll be able to limit any methods of infiltration to a few specific places."

"Destiny Islands, Twilight Town, Disney Castle, Radiant Garden, and Traverse Town." Yen Sid listed. "All the other worlds will have their barriers reinforced to prevent anyone accessing them without our knowledge."

Oh yeah, Traverse Town was back. It had startled everyone to learn that Traverse Town had not only returned, but was hosting refugees from other universes.

Anne Weying and Dan Lewis of Earth-688.

Jane Ross, Dot Williams, and Hugh Collins of Earth-3733.

Aman Dinkley, Sophie, and Amanda Dinkley of Earth-2023.

Iroh and Zuko of Earth-4714.

And some others.

"Alright." Sora steeled his gaze as he looked at the four magic users with determination, thinking of all his friends who wouldn't be targeted by the multiverse threats.. except for the Antimatter thing, but that was way into the future. "Let's do this!"

Notes:

Universe-2002 is where most of the Kingdom Hearts worlds exist, with the exception of San Fransokyo [Earth-14123] and the Quadratum [Earth-2002Q] according to the other fics.

Fairy Godmother having the last name Goodfairy is a nod to Farrah Goodfairy from Ever After High, who was the daughter of Cinderella's fairy godmother in that series. As for the Blue Fairy's name? Its a nod to the popular Disney theory connecting Pinocchio and The Princess and the Frog.

Earth-101915: Sometime Ago

Marinette Dupain-Cheng AKA Ladybug could safely say this was easily the craziest night of her life thus far. Which, considering she'd already travelled through time and space, become a superhero, and seen all sorts of things both sci-fi and fantasy alike, was saying a lot.

She and her teammate Cat Noir had recently teamed up with a superhero called Betterfly, who in truth was actually a heroic counterpart of their archnemesis Hawk Moth/Shadow Moth/Monarch. He had come to their universe in the hopes they would help him defeat Shadybug and Claw Noir—who were the versions of Marinette and Cat Noir from Betterfly's universe—which after a serious of encounters as well as a little help from Marinette's best friend Alya Cesaire—who prior to recent events had been the superheroine Rena Rouge—had managed to help convince their counterparts to use their powers for good, resulting in the duo rechristen themselves 'Ladybug' and 'Furry Paw' respectively.

They were about ready to part ways, when Ubiquity suddenly clutched her head in pain.

"ALYA!" Ladybug couldn't help but call out in concern as she and the others looked at the kamikotized superhero in shock and concern as she gritted her teeth.

"I'm feeling a disruption!" Ubiquity managed to speak through her grimace. "Like another connection between universes is opening at the same time as mine!"

At once, Ladybug's eyes narrowed. "Monarch."

"But, how?!" Furry Paw asked in confusion.

"He has the Miraculous of the Rooster now, its power of Sublimation allows him to create almost any power he wants."

"Will he be able to travel across universes?" Betterfly clutched his cane in concern.

Cat Noir crouched down in agitation. "And attack every Ladybug and Cat Noir in existence?"

A confident smirk overcame her face, Ladybug nodded to Betterfly. "I'll handle it."

Sensing her plan through his own Transmission ability, Betterfly quickly recalled the Kamiko from Ubiquity—his own Ladybug rushing to catch the falling Alya—before he sent it into the local Ladybug's earrings. "Ladybiquity, I am Betterfly! I offer you the power to protect all the universes from Monarch's dastardly plans. Do you accept?"

"For the greater good." and with a brief flash of light, the newly transformed Ladybiquity let her mind drift as she felt herself connect with all her alternate selves throughout the multiverse, their memories flowing into her and hers into them in turn-

-n one universe, she was still the Guardian but had given up the Ladybug mantle after Tikki gently renounced her as her holder and instead given it to Alya, who became Scarabella full-time alongside a new heroine called Kitty Noire. To her knowledge, she had no idea what happened to that universe's Cat Noir.

In one universe, her name was Bridgette Dupain-Cheng and she worked with a team called the Qunatic Kids, including a male Sparrow and a male Mylene named Claude. Also a disturbingly perky Chloe was her—bleh—BFF.

In one universe, she was mostly the same except she was in New York with Cat Noir helping Majestia with some crazy supervillain. Oddly enough, that Majestia didn't seem to have a version of Uncanny Valley and that Sparrow was actually a guy. Weird.

In one universe she was Lady Noir from the beginning and had been entrusted with the Miraculous of the Black Cat by Master Fu whilst presumably the civilian identity of Cat Noir had been given the Miraculous of the Ladybug and fought as Mister Bug.

And in another, she and Cat Noir new each others secret identitie-

Earth-101915: Present Day

"So, you don't remember anything from when you were connected to those alternate Marinette's when you were Ladybiquity?" Alya asked.

"Not really..." Marinette winced as she felt a migraine. "I.. sometimes think I can recall something but whenever I do, its gone just as quickly."

"Eh, probably for the best." Alya admitted. "When I was Ubquity and connected to Betterfly's Alya, it was seriously headache and that was just two people. You were connected to literally every version of Marinette with a Miraculous."

"Honestly, the only reason I or any of the other me's didn't go insane from all those memories was thanks to Betterfly's magic." Marinette rubbed her eyes. "How could anyone have all those memories and not go insane."

Jenny Everywhere paused midbite of toast before giving you a look. "Really? This is the best pointless end cameo you could think of?"

Chapter Text

Heather Lagenkamp knew how crazy life could be.

How couldn’t she? Decades ago, back in 1994, she had started having nightmares about Freddy Krueger, a fictional slasher villain of a horror movie she stared in during her early career as an actress. But this Freddy wasn’t like the movies, he was darker.. eviler.. and scared her in a way that he hadn’t been before.

Then she learnt the truth from her late friend, Wes Craven, who told her about how the being she saw in her nightmares was actually a monster, a true and proper demon that had plagued the Earth for centuries. Every century, the demonic entity took on the form of humanities darkest creation from the darkest story created by humanities imagination.

In the nineteenth century, it had been the true identity of Jack the Ripper, and in the late twentieth century, it had taken on the form of Freddy Krueger.

Wes told her about how he had managed to imprison the entity within the film series itself, but after the proper death of the Freddy Krueger character in the sixth film Freddy’s Dead the Final Nightmare, the entity had been set free. It had gone on a killing spree and took the lives of several people, including her beloved husband Chase Porter, all the while tormenting Heather herself due to her having portrayed the Nancy Thompson character in the original film that originally imprisoned the entity.

It had even managed to manipulate and possess Wes into creating a new script for a seventh ANOES film, which it had done to fulfil its goal of killing Heather and her son Dylan, in order to ensure its free reign for the rest of the twenty-first century.

Fortunately, Wes had managed to use the Entity’s plan as a last-ditch effort to reimprison it once more, which had successfully occurred thanks to the efforts of Heather and Dylan finishing the entity off in their dreams. Not only trapping it once more, but also freeing its possessed victim Robert Englund, the actor who played the Freddy character in the film series.

Afterwards, the trio of adults had gotten to work producing the movie, gathering all the former actors such as John Saxon and Tuesday Knight, to return for the film and had released it on October 14th of 1994.

It was dedicated in loving memory to Charles Wilson, Terrance Feinstein, and Chase Porter, and Julianna McKenna, the victims of the Freddy Entity’s masquerade.

The relatives of the aforementioned four had mixed thoughts on the film, though Julie’s mother had tearfully admitted that “my daughter always loved Days of Our Lives and would’ve loved being played by Tracy Middendorf in a movie”.

But while to the rest it was just another movie, albeit one made as a sort of macabre tribute the tragic deaths, quartet knew the truth about it serving as a prison for the entity.

On April 27th of 2010, a new film was released in Hollywood and a few days later in the USA, a film called Dylan’s New Nightmare. It was a sequel to the 1994 movie that was entirely fictional, written by Wes to prevent the ‘Freddy Entity’ from potentially escaping again.

It had been a success, many appreciating Dave McRae’s performance as the new Freddy actor and the emotional storytelling featuring the fictional Dylan and Heather.

Now? It was the 2020s and much had changed.

Wes was gone and through a serious of legal junk she still didn’t fully understand, she had been given film rights to the ANOES series. Now? The task of keeping that thing imprisoned fell to her; Dylan and Robert helped where they could, but Heather knew it ultimately her responsiblity. She had written up her will already, leaving the film rights to Robert first and her son second in the off-chance something happened to her.

The current script she’d written for a tenth movie that was another sequel starring her son and his girlfriend Jessie Archibald. The issue was which plot to use? She had so many potential ideas and she wanted to live up to Wes’s legacy. Maybe phone Robert and get him to come back? Have a Freddy vs Freddy angle? That could be interesting.

But when she went to write it down, her laptop suddenly switched on, making her let out a yelp of surprise as it showed a.. pig masked woman, although something about her felt.. off. A sort of uncanny sensation that reminded her disturbingly of the Freddy Entity...

And as she started to speak about 'Multiverse Jumpers', Heather could only feel a feeling of read shiver down her spin.

Notes:

Earth-1218 is an Earth very similar to real-life (IE Your World) but has a few notable differences, such as Archie Sonic Live and Wes Craven New Nightmare being actual events on this Earth. Also, yes, Dylan's New Nightmare was a full feature film and actually replaced the 2010 remake, meaning that on Earth-1218, Jackie Earle Haley has never been Freddy. Likewise, Dylan Porter played himself instead of Miko Hughes.

As for the line about the Freddy Entity possessing Robert during the movie? It was a scrapped idea for the 1994 movie that I included.

Chapter Text

Strolling through the halls of the Watchtower, a figure was looking around as she desperately tried to recall where the heck she was. This whole spaceship was so big, it was a miracle anyone could find their way.

"Oh, hey! Vajji, right?"

"It's pronounced Vagg-" the woman turned to correct only to come up short. "-ie."

It was a woman with black hair in a stereotypical stage magicians outfit.

"Huh." the mystery woman furrowed her brow. "Is.. is it sort for something?"

"V-Vagatha." She stammered, her eye looking up and the down the admittedly attractive woman.

"That's an.. interesting name." She said after a moment's pause before doing a stage bow. "Anyways, I'm Zatanna Zatara, at your service."

Vaggie felt her cheeks flush as the woman conjured a rose and offered it to her, taking it with a small smile. "Uh, t-thanks..."

"Lost?"

"That obvious?"

Zatanna just chuckled as she shook her head. "Trust me, everyone's gotten lost here at least once. Take it this is your first time here? Don't recall seeing you around here before."

"U-Uh, yeah." Vaggie replied as they started walking "Zauriel brought me in a few days ago."

"You're an angel?" Zatanna looked in mild surprise. "Born or..?"

"Born." She replied. "You religious?"

"Catholic." Zatanna shrugged. "Though I know things aren't always as accurate as the stories say. Most don't talk about how Heaven and Hell apparently encompass the entire universe for all extra-terrestrial life.."

Sensing what she was about to ask, Vaggie gave her a flat look. "I was only created two hundred years ago. If you're going to ask me about if other planets had their own Eden, I can't tell you."

"Worth a shot." Zatanna shrugged once again with a playful smirk. "Zauriel just ignored me when I asked him."

"He.. probably wasn't given clearance to divulge such information." Vaggie grimaced. "The only reason she even allowed me to join Zauriel was because most of humanity assumed I was from Thanagar."

"You know, most people assumed he was some sort of albino thanagarian when he first joined the League." Zatanna recalled the news articles upon seeing a seraphim like superhero.

Vaggie couldn't help but burst out laughing at that mental image.

Notes:

An abrupt ending, sure, but it accomplishes what I wanted to do.

The idea of an Earth-1992 Vaggie was an idea I had after learning that a version of Angel Dust was a Spider-Man like hero in another IC snippet. Thus, meet 'Exorcist' ('human' identity Vagatha Motha), a superheroine who recently joined the Justice League.

Chapter 6: Halloween Town

Chapter Text

Skellington Manor (Halloween Town)

"That was AWESOME!"

Sally chuckled to herself as her trio of adopted kids cackled in delight around their adoptive father about the serial killer who had visited them in their dreams, only for Jack to send him running for the hills. She did admit, she hadn't heard any reports about a new nightmare arriving in their town, which was rather odd as all new residence who manifest here always appear in the Town Hall, so either Jack or Mayor Two-Face Politian should've been aware of a new arrival before he showed up.

Perhaps he was from one of the other towns? But, no, that couldn't be it. The Hinterlands, aka the Holiday Hub, had no such thing as a 'dream town'. Then again, it wasn't as if everyone in Halloween Town was born here. The witch sisters, Helgamine and Zeldaborn for example, had originally been from Universe-81532119 during that version of Earth's Salem Witch Trials until Jack stumbled across them one Hallows Eve and brought them back to Halloween Town.

I do hope he wasn't related to those Heartless monsters that Sora deals with... Sally couldn't help but shiver as she recalled the straight up.. unnatural way Heartless had gazed at her and everyone. Do hope Sora is handling those things alright..

It was a surprise to learn that Sora could freely visit them in the Hinterlands, for in normal circumstances, the holiday worlds were cut off from the multiverse unless it was to fulfil their duties towards said holiday. Jack could only visit place during Hallows Eve or Sandy could only visit planets during Christmas and so on.

Those 'Apocalypse' places Sandy mentioned do seem rather dreadful. Not to mention that Darkseid fellow who rules them.

"Hello, Sally!" a blue skinned woman in a wedding dress waved politely as she passed by the gates.

"Hello, Emily!" she waved to the corpse bride with a smile. "Good day?"

"Perfect terrifying!" she called back.

Chuckling as she watched her leave, Sally paused as she realised something. "Oh dear, its getting early. I do hope Jingle and Jangle don't get stuck between worlds again."

Jingle and Jangle, one a pumpkin headed Halloween spirit while the other was a reindeer like Christmas spirit, who had become pen pals after Oogie's failed attempt at becoming the 'Seven Holiday King' led to communication between towns becoming slightly more common. The two got along like Twilliam, the Creature Under the Bed, and, well, a bed! But they ended up losing track of time and it was rather common to find them both stuck in either Christmas or Halloween Town before the doors briefly shut themselves up for a bit.

"Better go check on them.. they said they'd be at the haunted mansion by the cat cemetery..." after telling her family where she was going, Sally got up and set off for her quick check in.

Idlily, she wondered what that nightmare man had done that had warranted Jack scaring him off like that.

Because Sally knew her husband. And based on how her kids described the encounter, the fact that knife-glove wearing man had made Jack use one of his scariest faces on him.

Notes:

Not using anything from TNBC Pumpkin Queen sequel novel, because Dream Town kind of goes against the whole holiday theme the Hinterlands have going on. Thus, Sally is a local resident of TNBC Halloween Town. Her and Jack adopting the LSB trio is a fan idea I've seen a few times.

Jack scaring Freddy was based on a fanfic where he showed other horror villains why he was the spirit of Halloween.

Chapter Text

Though many would call her crazy, not a day went by that Mary-Jane Watson didn't regret the choices she'd made in life. Whether it was taking living out her dream of being a reporter in New York or her long-distance relationship with a man who's best friend she was allergic too, she could safely say she didn't regret any of it.

Except maybe for the time she got possessed by a demon. That was the one moment she could do without.

Though some moments did make her wish she could undo, like now.

"Ack!" She hissed in pain as she treated the spider bite she'd gotten whilst doing a report on some genetic scientist who was trying to give goats the ability to produce spider-silk for.. some reason. The jaded New Yorker part of her couldn't help but wonder if he'd be another scientist who fell into supervillain? That happened disturbingly often.

She was pulled from her musings when she heard her phone ring and took it out of her pocket, a bright smile forming on her face at seeing the caller ID. Answering, she beamed as she greeted the caller. "Hi, Shaggy!"

"Like, how's it going, MJ?"

She giggled at his nickname for her. "Alright, though one of the spiders got away and bite me."

"Zoinks!"

"Relax, I'm fine." Mary-Jane rolled her eyes at her boyfriend jump to imagining the worst case scenario. "Though it did sting."

"Like, if you say so." came Shaggy's response. "But still, you sure that thing wasn't radioactive or anything, right?"

"Why would a radioactive spider be at a place that modifies goats to produce spider-silk?"

"You'd be surprised! Me and the gang have seen some crazy things around the state!"

Considering the exhibits in the Coolsville Museum, she'd believe it. "Trust me, nothing weird happ- ACHOO!"

She sneezed, moving to cover her mouth with her hand.. only to feel something sticky. Pulling it back, her eyes widened in shock at the familiar white silk coating it. "..."

"Like, MJ? You still there?"

"I.. I.." MJ stuttered as she stared at the recognizable spider webbing on her hand as her eyes trailed to notice is seemingly came from her.. wrists?.. ".. on second thought, maybe you have a point..."

"Huh. Fascinating..." Velma Dinkley adjusted her glasses as she typed away at her computer whilst the rest of the gang plus Mary-Jane sat crowded around her, the gang having already been heading to the latters apartment for a visit. "It seems like your DNA has.. mutated, for lack of a better term."

"'Mutated'? But how?" Daphne asked.

"Like, I bet it was that spider she got bite by!" Shaggy pointed out.

Daphne paused before facepalming. "Okay, yeah, dumb question. But..."

"Oh? Now this is interesting..."

Madame Web peered into her crystal ball as she observed the group in the van discussing the new powers of Norville's girlfriend. Truthfully, she had been a few timelines where this event had happened, but they were minorities and thus, she judged them as not being as likely to happen in the 'prime' timeline yet she supposed no one could truly see the future (well, accept for maybe the One Presence Above All, but They were a power she could never dream of comprehending) with complete certainty.. unless they were intentionally nudging things to go the way they wanted them to go; not that anyone ever openly admitted to doing this little half-truth.. not even her...

Peering closer, she waved a hand and images began showing up in her crystal ball. Images. Possible futures that could happen, all depending on what path young Miss Watson decides to go down in the future...

Some had Mary-Jane using her powers to become the Earth-51 Spider-Girl, who used her status to get photos in the same way numerous Peter Parker variants did.

Others declined the superhero life but still used her powers to get some good photos.

Some had her crying over the corpse of her beloved with his friends and dog.

Others had the couple sharing a kiss whilst the friends and dog watched from the van some distance away.

"Either way, regardless of what she elects to undergo, I can only hope she lives up to the great power that has been thrusted upon her," she mused as she dispelled the image, "and the great responsibility those powers bring with them..."

Notes:

Yes, I made Mary Jane (played by Isla Fisher) from the Raja Gosnell Scooby-Doo duology the local version of Mary Jane Watson from Marvel.

Hayley's Cyberspace Cafe

Hayley Ziktor had seen a lot in her life.

Her best friend Tommy Oliver was a long-standing member of various superhero teams, all of whom were proud protectors of the universe known as 'Power Rangers'. She had aided one such team, the Dino Thunder Rangers, by building them all sorts of new tech to help them fight against the evil forces of Mesogog, and had even help Tommy create the Dino Thunder powers by using his knowledge of an extradimensional energy field known as the Morphin Grid as well as the blueprints for the Power Morphers and Power Coins.

"Oh Miss Hayley!"

Oh, and one of her employees was an unholy genetically engineered chimera of a crocodile, plant, and telephone that had been kidnapped and made into a manservant by Trent during his evil phase. Can't forget that.

"Yes, D'Vile?" She looked up from her work as the monster came in. "Did Mister O'Shaughnessey call?"

She didn't even bother to hide her smirk as the monster spluttered. She had to admit, finding out that Mesogog's monsters could be bisexual was.. not something she immediately thought of, but hey, if the Japanese-Irish man didn't mind, who was she to judge? Her girlfriend Elsa Randall had been a much more loyal minion of Mesogog's all those years ago after all...

Croco D'Vile then seemed to recall why he'd come in here. "Actually, I did a call, though it was.. weird..."

That made Hayley pause. "Weird.. how?"

"Someone asked if they could park in the cafe-"

Before he could finish and she could process the statement, a loud whirl noise filled the air as did a small startled scream that made them both go wide eyed and call out as one, "MAIA!"

After letting out her startled scream, Maia McKnight could only watch in surprised awe as the strange blue shape seemingly faded in and out of existence. She had seen a lot of strange things in her life, her uncle Conner was secretly a Power Ranger after all, but something about this felt.. different, but in a really good way!

Thus when the blue machine's door(?) opened and a blonde woman stumbled out gasping for breath before collapsing to her hands and knees, the five year old girl rushed over to help her without any real thought on the potential dangers. Moving her head and spotting her helper, the woman just gave a bright smile. "Oh, hello!"

Then she fully passed out just as Miss Ziktor and Mr D'Vile rushed in.

"So.. you're name is literally just.. Doctor?"

Nodding with a bright smile, the so-called Doctor took another sip of the smoothie and let out a delighted moan. "Oh, this! This is nice! Did you make this?"

"Uh, yes?" Hayley replied.

"Its good! You should be proud." The Doctor took another sip before looking around. "Now, where am I?"

"That.. depends." Hayley replied with a cautious. "Do you mean the building, the city, the planet, or...?"

"Ah, got some experience with this do you?" she seemed relieved. "How about all of the above?"

"Okay, well, right now you're in my cyber cafe on Reefside in California on planet Earth in.. Universe-1, I guess? Or two or three depending on who you're asking."

"Hm, that last bit doesn't really help..." The Doctor frowned before pulling out a strange screwdriver like device from her dress pocket. "Uh, do you mind..?"

Eyeing it suspiciously, she slowly nodded. "Go ahead. Croco?"

Not minding as the chimera took his place behind her, the Doctor waved her device over Hayley as it let out a strange ringing noise. "By tracking your universal vibrational frequency and comparing it to the lists I already have.. there! Right, according to this, I'm on Earth.. 2808! Or 1993.. or 2004.. lets just go with 2808, shall we?"

"If you say so." Hayley nodded as the Doctor pocketed her device, allowing both her and Croco to relax slightly. "So, what universe do you come from?"

"Not Earth?"

"I've met enough aliens to know outward appearance don't matter much." Hayley thought, recalling several different Rangers who looked completely identical to humans.

"Right, well normally, I'm from Universe-231163, though UNIT calls it 'Universe-1' and I've met a few who call it 'Universe-63'." The Doctor shrugged. "The first one is the same designation index that calls this one 2808; as for planet, I'm from Gallifrey. Ah. I don't suppose..?"

"If anyone has encountered it, they haven't mentioned it to me." Hayley said after a moment to search her memory. "Sorry."

"Don't worry about it." the Doctor shook her head. "Even if this universe did have a version of Gallifrey, there's not really a guarantee it'll be exactly like mine."

Hayley thought back to how widely different the Street Fighter Rangers universe was before nodding. "Yeah, I know what you mean."

"So.." all three jumped as Maia spoke up for the first time in a while. ".. do you have any Power Rangers on your world?"

"Ah, no, sorry." the Doctor smiled apologetically. "I have met or heard about them a few times, but they certainly don't exist on my universe..."

"Not surprising." Hayley mused. "From what Grid Battleforce found, not all universes have a strong enough connection to the Morphin Grid to allow the creation of ranger powers."

"Yes, too much extradimensional energy is dangerous." the Doctor chuckled before pausing. "Why do I feel like that's a reference and why don't I get it?"

Fighting a smirk as she did get the comparison, though confused about how the Doctor knew it without getting it, Hayley shrugged. "No idea."

At that moment, a flash of light occurred as Conner McKnight and Trent Fernandez teleported in the safe.

"HAYLEY! We detected the.. breach..." Conner trailed off as he and Trent saw the three faces they knew having smoothies with a strange blonde woman. ".. Is that a phone booth?"

Notes:

With all the theories surrounding Billie Piper as the Sixteenth Doctor, I figured I'd introduce a variant known as the "Rose Doctor" who actually IS the Doctor. If the show reveals Piper ISN'T Sixteen, we can still have fun with the Doctor who looks like their ex-girlfriend lol

Hayley was intended to be a lesbian in the original PR:DT finale that got scrapped, seeing as Elsa got redeemed in said finale, pairing them together made sense in my mind. In the Sentai, Croco D'Vile/ Yatsudenwani was actually the first ever Sentai character fully confirmed to be LGBTQIA+, being confirmed bisexual. Maia McKnight is a nod to Mai Hakua, who was the Red Rangers niece, though Maia's parents (Eric McKnight/???) are still alive.

"Ugh.. what.. was that?"

N blinked his optics as he head a hand to his head, his systems still working out the bugs from.. whatever had knocked him out. Alright, last thing he remembered was.. "Damian!"

Bolting up, he looked around the hotel lobby and found several figures either knocked out or groggily coming back to consciousness. With a brief flap of his wings, he was right beside the jackal demon and helping to his own feet.. at least before the demon quickly returned to his preferred method of levitating. "Geez, what the heck was that light?"

"I was kinda hoping you knew." N awkwardly chuckled as the others started gathering.

Lucifer looked the most troubled, his mystical senses giving him a rough idea on what had occurred. "I think it was some sort of reality.. something or other..." he rolled his eyes as several others gave him incredulous looks. "Excuse me for not being an all knowing god!"

"What.. what were we doing again?" Charlie asked, a troubled expression on her face as she failed to recall said topic.

"We were trying to get ET over there a way to phone home." Angel Dust snarked.

"Ah, about that.." everyone turned to see the Soldier looking uneased. ".. I.. think I found out what that mess was..."

"Really?" Charlie smiled in relief. "Great! So, what was it?"

"I.. think something might've changed the timeline." The Soldier treaded lightly. "I think N might have something to do with it."

"Me?!" N stepped back in surprise. "Bu- Wha- Ho-?"

"YOU!"

Everyone turned to see the doors opened as a trio of imps and a hellhound barged in, all three imps glaring daggers at the drone while the hellhound merely gave him a brief glance before making a beeline to the bar and going on her phone.

"Blitz?" Charlie blinked.

"Not know, Char.." Blitzo scowled as he jabbed a thumb into N's chest. "Listen bub, I don't know how the here you found us but I swear to Satan-"

"Wait, you know who I am?!" N's optic widened as the Soldier let out a quiet 'God dammit' whilst Collin gave a scandalous gasp at her word choice.

"Uh, yeah?" The female imp, Millie, raised a brow. "Not often you forget a space robot ya fight when the client-"

"But, wait, I thought I was from some weird alternate timeline!" N noted before looking at the Soldier in a panic. "Did.. did we somehow jump into it?"

"Hold on a second," the Soldier looked at IMP with her arms crossed and a serious expression on her face. "Tell me how this meeting went down."

"Sorry, bitch, but there's that while client-patient confiden.." Blitzo trailed off as Lucifer gave him a look that made him hold up his hands in nervous surrender. "Ah, when do we ever maintain appropriate business rules and shit?"

"It happened when we got a client who claimed to be from some space colony on a planet called Copper-9.." Moxxie took over. ".. he wanted us to destroy some bunker and one thing led to another..."

"You three ended up fighting me, Uzi, and V." N nodded before he paused, furrowing a none existent brow. "Hold up, 'alien client'? Don't you mean human?"

"What, no?" Blitzo gave him a funny look. "Guy was pretty clear about being an alien."

"Damn it..." The Soldier cursed, looking at her phone. "I figured, that was some kind of folding affect. Best guess? N's timeline got folded in this one and things got changed to fit in. Probably some delayed side-effect of him getting sent here or something along those lines. Reality is already an inconsistent mess at this point."

"Oh." N frowned as he tried to work everything out in his processor. "So.. instead of humans..."

"The Drones were created by some sort of humanlike aliens? Yep." The Soldier shrugged. "On the plus side, compared to most rewrites go, the fact so little details changed are frankly a miracle."

"But.. what about-"

"Based on my knowledge, your memories will either remain unaffected, you'll eventually start remembering the new timeline and forget the original, or you'll simply recall both timelines." The Soldier guessed. "But on the plus side, this should make getting you home a lot easier; just gotta find out where Copper-9 is and that should be that!"

"If.. you say so..." N clearly had no idea how to process all of this so he ultimately decided to just shrug and go along with it. "I think in the original timeline it was.. uh..."

Or maybe things wouldn't be so easy after all.

Notes:

Yep, N's now a resident of 91316, albeit humans had no role in making the Drones. In this universe, it was a race of human-like aliens who built the Drones and got killed off by the Solver.

Chapter Text

Earth-1985

"Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego?!"

Wincing at the loud volume of the Chief, the expert teen hacker known as the 'Player' nonetheless dutifully replied. "That's just it, Chief! According to everything, she's not on Earth anymore!"

"WHAT?!" The Chief's eyes bulged behind his glasses in shock. "Is she out there stealing planets again?! Cause we literally just got Pluto back in its natural orbit!"

"Not quite." Player replied as he brought up some images. "Remember those strange readings we got during the Dust Day?"

"Do I ever! All our agents were working tireless to help migrate the damages!"

Player grimaced, recalling how he himself had been one of those taken. It was good fortune that Carmen had lent aid to ACME. The woman was many things, but she always drew the line at things that could potentially take lives.. well, unless she was positive said lives were capable of easily escaping or preventing said dangers from taking lives. Bottom line? The Dust Day's nature prevented anyone at ACME from assuming that Carmen was somehow behind it.

"Considering we recently deduced they came from outside our universe and we recently detected similar energies at Carmen's last known location..."

The Chief's eyes widened on screen. "She escaped into the multiverse?! Are you positive?!"

"At first, I was doubtful, but then this came in..." Player pulled up a video recording, which started playing a catchy song and showed footage of Carmen playing over it that looked straight out of a nineties animated series.

Where is Carmen Sandiego?

(Camen Sandiego)

It opened on Carmen entering a portal after giving the 'follow me' hand gesture before the camera followed her.

Where on Earth can she be?

Multiple images of planet Earth and other planets such as Venus or Mars were shown with countless others neither Player or Chief recognised.

Tell me, where is,

Carmen evading orange constructs as a strange alien in an orange jumpsuit yelled at her.

Carmen Sandiego?

A trio of woman stood before a restrained redhead girl, extracting some sort of fire from the redhead before Carmen came out of nowhere to scratch it. The trio immediately gave chase, whilst the restrained redhead just stared in confusion.

(Carmen Sandiego)

It then zoomed in on a specific Earth where they saw two boys and a girl alongside a yellow mouse and other strange animals chasing Carmen in her hovercraft which was towing a large box of red-white orbs.

Tell me, where on Earth can she be?

Tell me, where is she?

Sphinx, Mona Lisa

Carmen was seen riding on a giant sphinx whilst a group of four girls known as the Mysticons chased after her. The screen cut to where Carmen was carrying a bag of stolen weapons and ninja masks being chased by four green humanoid turtle and a green humanoid lizard with brown hair and a pink scarf.

Leaning tower of pizza

Player blinked as she was shown climbing a literally tower made of pizza before noticing strange creatures dressed as police officers waiting for her at the top. Giving a brief tip of her hat, she unbuckled her harness and took off using her jetpack.

London Zoo

Carmen stealing (or rather, rescuing) a kid who fell into an exhibit at the London Zoo which said 'GIANTS OF GIANTCOUNTRY; DONATED BY PRINCESS SOPHIE OF THE UNITED KINGDOM'. Said giants could only glare at Carmen for saving their future meal as they were instead forced to bitterly munch on some strange cucumber like vegetables

Timbuktu

An Englishman yelled about Carmen stealing his clothes whilst the latina woman just shrugged at the camera recording her.

Can you help us find a clue?

A man and his blue dog were searching for something, before Carmen appeared just outside their field of vision holding a notebook and a crayon.

Oh, where is Carmen Sandiego?

(Carmen Sandiego)

She held up a map of the multiverse.

Where on Earth can she be?

Where on Earth is she?

With that, she took a bow as the video faded to black.

As the video came to an end, a message typed it self out on Player's screen.

Come on and find me, Player, its impolite to leave a lady waiting~

As Chief began yelling for Zack and Ivy, the blonde and redhead sibling duo rushing in at the commotion, Player could only smirk as he began rewinding the video for any clues.

'Game on, Carmen!'

Notes:

Earth-1985 is based mainly on the 1994 cartoon, but has elements of the games, such as Carmen's more outlandish heists and 2019 show, such as Player NOT playing a video game. The designation comes from the release of the first game.

The worlds visited by Carmen in the video are; DC, Winx Club, Pokemon Journeys the Series, Mysticons, TMNT 2012, Pizza Tower, The BFG, Aristocats, and Blues Clues. Whether or not they're the already featured IC Earths or just nondescript variants is unclear.

Chapter 11: Earth-579

Chapter Text

Charmsburg, United States of Auradon

"Chloe?"

Chloe looked away from her mirror as her mother entered her room. "Yeah mom?"

"I was looking for you," Queen Cinderella replied, closing the door behind her. "Fairy Godmother and your schools headmaster just called to inform me that school will be starting up again come Monday."

Chloe sighed in relief. Don't get her wrong, she was happy that the schools had taken a short break following Ben and Mal's wedding, but the school being closed meant all the students had returned home till it was reopened.

Which meant her older brother Chadwick had returned home.

Don't get her wrong, she loved her brother, but sitting at the dinner table with him was already a challenge. Especially last week...

"If you don't shut up," Princess Red of the Wonderland Diarchy, Chloe's visiting pen pal, slowly turned to face the previous rambling blonde man. "I swear to Time you'll be on Wonderland death row and no amount of pardoning from aunt Mirana will save you."

King Charming II, Queen Cinderella, Ex-King Charming I and Grand Duke Monocolao stared at her whilst Chloe just facepalmed.

"Yes, well, nobody invites a wonderlandian without expecting such things to occur."

Chloe jolted as she realised she'd been reminiscing out loud, judging by her mothers amused stare.

"Red didn't mean it.." she shrunk as her mother gave a flat look. ".. okay, but I stand by she wouldn't actually go all 'off with his head' on him."

"I'll take your word for it." her mother relented as she sat down on Chloe's bed. "Have you heard from Red recently? You two were arranging a play together, correct?"

"Yeah, about two girls who travel back in time to when their respective parents attended a high school dance." Chloe recalled. "That student film competition sounded like fun and its not like we had anything else better to do during the break. The Hightopps are funding it."

"Who?"

"The Mad Hatters family," Chloe elaborated before her phone started ringing. Checking the ID, she smiled. "It's Red! Uh, can I take this?"

"Of course," her mother got up and left the room. "Do tell her I said high."

"I will!" she smiled before answering. "Hey, Red! How's it- WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOUR MOTHER WANTS TO BE IN THE MOVIE?!"

The line about Chloe and Red cowriting a play is my way to tie the Rise Of Red spinoff series into Earth-579. While it had its moments, I dislike how it retconned the original premise of Descendants by making it even more similar to Ever After High by having the parents be former classmates, so, I'm saying its fictional in-universe. The Red Queen/Iracebeth is from the Tim Burton duology, which was a semi-sequel to the original story.

The Grand Duke's name is taken from the Italian dub of Cinderella, which gave him the name 'Monocolao'.

Chapter 12: Finale

Chapter Text

As the antimatter waves washed over Earth-2023, a lone mask was searching for something.. or rather, someone.. it had to find a host before everything in this place was erased and there would no longer be a- aha!

The mask floated down to a skeleton, one seemingly belonging to a large dog. This would have to do.

Sliding onto the skull, the masks magic got to work. Flesh, skin, fur, all of it grew back over the bones. Getting up onto his four feet, stumbling a little as he found his mind far more intelligent that it had been in life.. he let out a single phrase as processed his resurrection.

"Rolly rhit!"

It was at that moment he noticed the white wave.

"ROLLY RHIT!"

And with a quick thought, he vanished from the universe just before the wave could hit him. He would later reappear in a citadel, located in a dimension far away from his original universe.. a citadel of Pigheads...

Scooby's skeleton actually appears as a cameo in the Velma episode A Velma in the Woods, so I figured having the mask revive him as its host made sense considering how he was a non-entity in the show proper (thank God). The potential for him to visit Earth-030122 and interact with Scrappy, who also survived the antimatter wave and is currently being held by the Illuminati.

Let's see.. what others scenes could happen..?

".. and that's all I know..."

Rachel 'Raven' Roth of Earth-261080 and Rachel 'Raven' Roth of Earth-261081 shared a sad look as the latter finished recounting her tale. After a moment, the shorter sorceress looked up at her counterpart. "I'm.. glad I got to at least warn you before those waves hit your world."

"Me too." the older Raven stated before, after a moment of hesitation, she got down and hugged her counterpart. The shorter Raven seemed surprised and even unsure how to react.. before her eyes started growing wet and she hugged her taller counterpart, letting out the anguish of everything she'd been holding in. After a solid minute, they split apart and smiled at each other as the spectre began dissipating.

Sending her taller counterpart one last smile before she fully passed on to the next life, Raven 261081 gave one final parting remark.

"Good luck."

Oh, wow, that happened? I mean, the interactions between the two Raven's was easily the best part of the TT and TTG crossover movie, but still.

Anything else?

"Zelda?"

Princess Hilda of Earth-1891 frowned as her magic mirror showed.. static?.. she didn't know what that word meant, but it sounded right. She had been in the middle of a chat with her Hyrulean counterpart via the trans-dimensional mirror when it suddenly cut off.

"Huh, that was rude." Ravio, her.. friend.. yes, friend, noted as he and his friend Sheerow looked over her shoulders.

"Perhaps something has happened in Hyrule?" the Lorulean princess thought, biting her lip. "Perhaps we should visit? Lorule is in a time of peace after all and she was saying her worlds Triforce had vanished."

"Woohoo! Road trip!" Ravio cheered, Sheerow mimicking his movements.

Hilda just rolled her eyes fondly at the Lorulean counterparts of Link and Navi.

Checking in on Lorule, which I was tempted to reveal was also the home universe of Dark Meta Knight from Kirby and the Amazing Mirror and the Fire Emblem Engage Fell Xenologue DLC, making it a sort of mirror of Earth-1981. The idea of Sheerow being the local equivalent of Navi just made sense imo.

Well, those are enough snippets to end this fic off. Might make a sequel if I feel like it. See ya all later.
