Summary
He was created for one purpose: to kill Superman should he fall, to replace him should he perish. But in a world that has never known Superman, what is a weapon without its purpose? In a desperate bid for freedom, Superboy escapes Cadmus, only to be torn from his world and cast into the chaotic world of Earth Bet. It is a world fractured by power, ruled by capes, and bound by a rule he cannot comprehend. His arrival is cataclysmic. A city burns in the wake of his battle against Blockbuster, the monster who made him. His power is immense, his strength awe-inspiring, but here, amongst legends, he is no God. Alone, lost, and outmatched, Superboy must find meaning in a world where heroism is a fragile illusion and trust is a deadly risk. There is no Superman here, no Symbol of Hope to guide him. In this broken world, he must choose whether to uphold that ideal or shatter forever.
