Summary
Eddie draws in a slow breath, his expression a bit manic. “I went into the bunk room to take a nap during out shift, and I woke up and…” He gestures to his chest. “It wasn’t this bad right away, but it got worse pretty quickly.”
“And you have no idea what caused it?”
Eddie shrugs helplessly. “The only thing I can think of is that weird wellness shop we got called to yesterday. But it’s not like I bought anything, and I had gloves on the whole time we were in there.”
“Do you think…” Buck pauses to swallow, hoping the lust clawing at his insides isn’t showing on his face. “Do you think they’ll stay like that?”
“How should I know?” Eddie snaps. His expression immediately crumbles, and he sinks onto the bed behind him. “I’m sorry. I’m not mad at you. It just hurts.”
“Because of the milk?” Buck asks, his tongue tripping over the words.
Eddie groans, pressing the heels of his hands into his eyes. “Yes, Buck. Because of the milk.”Eddie is in pain, so it only makes sense for Buck to help him out.
