I trembled as I approached the old and abandoned looking cabin, I thought maybe I was being an idiot for accepting the offer. She mentioned the trail, the cabin, how I’d likely struggle to find my way to her place but that she couldn’t come guide me. I thought maybe she just had a girlfriend, two lesbians just living out their life in the woods, but the eerie stillness, emptiness, the degradation made me rethink it. It wasn’t a house, least not one people lived in. Perhaps she was an actual witch, one of horror, or worse. A den of monsters, beasts, eldritch nightmares…
