“So, with a group of your size,” the guy says, and Eddie tunes back in, glad no one seems to notice the way he’d been staring at Buck and paying absolutely no attention. “You might want to divide into two groups of four."
Everyone in the group looks around, wondering how they should split up.
“Well, I’m sticking with my wife,” Karen says, holding tight to Hen’s arm.
“Me too,” Chimney says quickly, and Maddie rolls her eyes with a fond smile.
“I’ll go with you guys,” Ravi says, stepping over to Hen and Karen.
Eddie sees Buck look his way and acts before he has a chance to think.
“Yeah, me too.”
