    Of course, he was not necessarily born this way—defective, vile, and hate-filled. It was the experiences in his young life that had twisted him into a hideous creature that equally hated and feared most women. The women in his family who were supposed to protect him subjected him to harrowing abuse and neglect. That changes a person. And it certainly changed him for the worse.
