   Summary

   Thirteen year old Abigail Pierre is one of the most liked orphans in Playcare. Good with the young orphans, friendly with the staff, high test scores, what else could parents want from a child? However, Abigail seems to be passed up every single adoption ceremony, no matter what she does. So, when a new doctor is hired in Playcare that seems to take an interest in Abbie, she does everything she can to get on his good side in the hopes of adoption.
