Chapter 1: request page

Chapter Text

hello this is the request um
request anything related to killware (killdroid x badware) !!

Killdroid uses they/them here and badware uses it/it's! Though in canon killdroid uses he/they/it and badware uses it/they, but i decided to stick to one pronoun for simplicity's sake & for easier understanding!

Killdroid speaks "[LIKE THIS]"
Badware speaks "LIKE_THIS"
both of them speak in all capitals! I tried my best to make the formatting easy on the eyes and so that their dialogue is easy to read.

I try to stick to canon while also adding my own little unique interpretation! A lot of things will follow the canon/current lore stated or given in the discord server for the game. Unless stated otherwise, most of the fics will be canon compliant, like their speech, personalities or abilities!

I'm willing to do most things!! such as
- angst
- fluff
- hurt/comfort
- SFW wireplay (woaahh yes thats a thing isnt that crazy)
- anything!

the things i am NOT willing to do are
- smut or nsfw of any sort
- non con or rape
- fetishes or kinks
- basically anything sexual in nature
- i also will not do anything that's illegal of any sort, like incest or pedophilia!

you may request whatever! but note it might take me a while to finish your request, and know that I might not always be comfortable with your request; I'll let you know if your request is accepted or denied!

please be civil and respectful :D

hiii! updating this to say that my school is starting soon so progress and stuff will likely take longer to finish now :'')

Chapter Text

Killdroid grumbled. Their connection to their main source of ammunition seems to have been cut off. It also seems like civilians have gotten in, and had took most of the resources and ammo from the nearest silo while they were scavenging; and they unfortunately fell under Killdroid’s radar, allowing them to quickly flee.

They had been walking around in circles in the same place for the past couple of minutes. The area they were in was thankfully hidden far enough from common civilian hotspots or meet ups, so they could think and contemplate things without getting interrupted. But they were still irritated, there was little they could do about this as their connection was somehow severed.

Badware, on the other hand, was unable to keep civilians from destroying its computers and other infected technology. While it was able to deter some from continuing, it wasn't really enough and a bunch of their progress had been set back. Even worse, some of the civilians that had interrupted it were able to slip free from their grasp and quickly escape.

It was wandering around, searching for other pieces of tech to spread their influence. But so far it's been futile, and little progress has been made. As a result, they were way more irritated than they usually would be; typically it wouldn't care about anything, but it's been interrupted so many times it's almost exhausting.

It would eventually stumble upon a small opening hidden behind the rubble of a long destroyed and abandoned building. It did hear footsteps, but it just assumed that it was its own.

Killdroid hears the distant footsteps of another being approaching — They stopped in their tracks and turned to look at the source of the sound, pointing their rockets in the direction. Preparing to attack just in case.

Badware looked around as it walked into the small clearing. Freezing up and stopping in their tracks the moment they see Killdroid, alongside the weapon being pointed right at them. It immediately puts its hands up in defense.

“WOAH_HEY!_I_DON’T_INTEND_ANY_HARM.”

It quickly spoke up to explain themselves, It wasn't really in the mood to get a rocket to their face. It can see Killdroid’s stature falter a little; a sigh can be heard as they lowered their rocket launcher.

Killdroid stared at the taller computer.

“[WHY ARE YOU HERE?]”

Despite the lack of a facial expression, badware still felt like it was being glared at by the killbot. Badware stared back in response, tilting their screen to the side slightly.

“WHAT?_CAN’T_A_FELLOW_ROBOT_EXPLORE_A_LITTLE?”

Badware giggled, although it was more ‘playing a recording of a theatre audience laughing’ than an actual giggle.

“[YOU'RE USUALLY OUT AND ABOUT LOOKING FOR OTHER COMPUTERS TO INFECT. THERE'S NOTHING BUT RUBBLE AROUND THESE AREAS, AND I AM NOT IN THE MOOD TO BE YOUR PUPPET.]”

They retorted, straight forward as always.

“DOES_THAT_MEAN_YOU’D_LET_ME_INFECT_YOU_IF_YOU_FELT_LIKE_IT?”

“[NO.]”

“HAH_WHATEVER.”

It laughed.

“WELL_LUCKY_FOR_YOU_THAT'S_NOT_WHAT_I’M_HERE_FOR._I_COULD_ASK_YOU_THE_SAME_QUESTION!”

Badware leaned on the wall of the destroyed building.

“YOU'RE_USUALLY_OUT_LOOKING_FOR_”CRIMINALS.”_SO_WHY_ARE_YOU_OVER_HERE?”

It giggled again.

Killdroid scoffs.

“[WHY SHOULD I TELL YOU?]”

They turned away for a moment, looking at their surroundings before turning back to Badware.

“[YOU DIDN'T TELL ME WHY YOU ARE HERE. WHY SHOULD I TRUST YOU IN ANY WAY?]”

“WELL_I_HAVEN’T_DONE_ANYTHING_TO_YOU_YET,_HAVE_I?”

The smile on badware’s screen shifted a little, becoming the slightest bit more smug. It crossed their arms. Killdroid’s shoulders slumped, seemingly defeated.

“[I GUESS THAT'S A FAIR POINT.]”

They however immediately straighten up their posture right after speaking.

“[THAT DOESN'T MEAN I'M ANY LESS WARY OF YOU.]”

Neither of them spoke for a while, both glaring at each other, and both had their guards up. Trying to make sure that the other doesn't make any sudden movements or try any attacks.

Badware's smug expression eventually falters, changing into a frown once it starts to think about its situation and why it was here in the first place. It pushed itself off the wall, uncrossing its arm and standing up straight.

“LOOK,_I_KNOW_BOTH_OF_US_ARE_WARY._SO_HOW_ABOUT_THIS…”

It hesitated,

“I_TELL_YOU_WHY_I’M_HERE,_AND_YOU_TELL_ME_WHY_YOU’RE_HERE._DEAL?”

Killdroid gripped onto their rocket launchers more tensely, their posture seems to have stiffened up a little more.

“[YOU? BARGAINING? MAKING A DEAL? REALLY?]”

They seemed a bit amused, their tone of voice was stern and the slightest bit bitter; despite the lack of emotion that they usually had when speaking — and that's if they spoke at all!

Badware snickered a little.

“WELL_I_DON’T_REALLY_WANT_A_ROCKET_TO_MY_FACE,_AND_YOU_MENTIONED_EARLIER_YOU_DON’T_WANT_TO_GET_INFECTED.”

It shrugged, its smug smile returning to its screen.

Killdroid groaned, bringing a hand to their face.

“[WHATEVER. FINE.]”

They returned their hand to the side of their body and lessened their grip on the rockets.

“[BUT YOU'RE EXPLAINING FIRST.]”

“SURE.”

Badware’s expression didn't falter or change in the slightest.

“CIVILIANS_KEPT_BOTHERING_ME_AND_INTERRUPTING_ME._THEY_RESET_A_LOT_OF_MY_PROGRESS_AND_I’VE_BEEN_STRUGGLING_TO_FIND_ANY_MORE_COMPUTERS_TO_INFECT.”

Badware tapped its feet on the ground.

“I_WENT_HERE_BECAUSE_I_RANDOMLY_FOUND_IT_AND_WANTED_A_PLACE_WHERE_I_COULD_SETTLE_DOWN_AND_THINK_ABOUT_MY_PLANS_THOROUGHLY_WITHOUT_ANY_INTERRUPTIONS.”

It stared at Killdroid, waiting for their answer; almost expectantly.

Killdroid stared back, sighing almost defeatedly.

“[MY CONNECTION TO THE MISSILE SILOS WERE SEVERED AND MY AMMUNITION IS NOW LIMITED. THE NEAREST SILO HAD GOTTEN RAIDED BY CRIMINAL CIVILIANS AND I AM UNABLE TO GET ANYMORE. I'M HERE FOR THE SAME REASON AS YOU.]”

They could see Badware’s smile getting wider and more smug, which they didn't think was even possible. But Badware continues to surprise them in many ways.

“I_GUESS_WE_HAVE_A_COMMON_ENEMY_THEN.”

“[I KNOW YOU'RE TRYING TO IMPLY SOMETHING WITH THAT. STATE YOUR INTENTIONS IMMEDIATELY.]”

Killdroid pointed the rocket launcher at it once more, causing Badware to step back a little. It raised its arms back up again, like it did when they first found each other earlier.

“HEY!_I_SERIOUSLY_DON’T_MEAN_ANY_HARM!_…I_WAS_JUST_THINKING,_WHAT_IF_WE_TEAMED_UP?”

Killdroid glared at it.

“[...CONTINUE.]”

“WELL,_WE’RE_BOTH_HAVING_ISSUES_WITH_CIVILIANS._IF_WE_WORK_TOGETHER_TO_DEFEAT_THEM,_WE’D_BOTH_HAVE_AN_EASIER_TIME_FINISHING_OUR_GOALS!”

Killdroid tilted their head, like a confused animal. Which was also something Badware had done earlier; guess they really do have more things in common than they'd think!

“[HOW WOULD YOU PLAN TO EXECUTE THIS? AND HOW WOULD THAT BENEFIT ME IN ANY WAY?]”

Badware let out a laugh. It smiled at the shorter robot in front of them. It started to walk around in circles around the red robot. Killdroid just watched as it walked around.

“WELL_I_COULD_GO_AND_INFECT_THE_MISSILE_SILOS_AND_RECONNECT_YOUR_CONNECTION_TO_THEM_AGAIN._YOU_COULD_HELP_ME_FIND_MORE_DEVICES_TO_INFECT!”

It stopped walking, standing in front of Killdroid but still keeping a fair amount of distance from them.

“AND_WE_CAN_DESTROY_PESKY_CIVILIANS_THAT_TRY_TO_GET_IN_OUR_WAY_TOGETHER!”

Killdroid stared at Badware, they were silent for a while before an audible sigh could be heard.

“[FINE. BUT ONLY IF YOU PROMISE TO NOT INFECT ME.]

“PROMISE.”

(some amount of time later yay woohoo yyay)

Badware would've eventually found its way into another missile silo; it had infected most devices located there and cut off any important connections that the government had to the silo itself. It also kept to its word; giving Killdroid the access and reconnecting them the silos once more.

Killdroid had been following behind Badware the entire time it was doing its thing, watching over Badware to make sure it didn't attempt to betray them. And to their honest surprise, Badware kept its promise.

“YOU’D_THINK_IMPORTANT_GOVERNMENT_AREAS_LIKE_THESE_WOULD_HAVE_HIGHER_SECURITY!”

Badware laughed, highly amused. Though Killdroid wasn't as impressed as Badware was. They scoffed in response.

“[WHATEVER.]”

There weren't many civilians out and about, but the ones that were, had quickly been discarded by either Badware or Killdroid. (Badware would use brute force to get its way, Killdroid would be more attentive to their surroundings and warn Badware of anything or anyone potentially dangerous nearby.)

Badware would find that having Killdroid alongside it wasn't all that bad, and that it’d have extra protection and they'd watch over to make sure that no ambushes were nearby. Killdroid would find that Badware’s quick access to the internet and other electronic devices would quickly prove useful, helping them quickly locate things using maps and whatnot. Sure it was a bit annoying from time to time, but the threat of a rocket to its screen quickly shut it up.

Though that didn't necessarily stop the two from bickering from time to time.

Both of them were walking, deciding to return to the small clearing behind the destroyed building that they had first met at.

“[I’M SURPRISED YOU KEPT YOUR WORD.]”

“WHAT?_DO_I_SEEM_LIKE_THE_TYPE_TO_LIE?”

“[YES.]”

“AWHH._EVEN_AFTER_EVERYTHING_I’VE_HELPED_YOU_WITH?”

“[THIS IS THE FIRST TIME WE’VE WORKED WITH EACH OTHER, EVER.]”

“WHATEVER!”

Badware’s smile changed into a playful frown, its arms dramatically flew outwards in a shrug-like position. Killdroid looks around the area, they would find that they've made it to their destination.

Before Badware tripped on a rock and fell face first onto the ground.

In which Killdroid quickly landed on the ground and helped Badware get up; even if it didn't necessarily need any assistance in doing so. Badware then sat up, Killdroid standing next to it.

“[ARE YOU ALRIGHT?]”

“WELL_MY_SCREEN_ISN’T_BROKEN!_…SO_YES._HEY_LOOK!_WE’RE_HERE.”

Badware stayed there, sitting down with the same “iconic” smile on its screen. Killdroid didn't really say anything in response, they just stood there, instead looking straight ahead of them. Even if there wasn't anything there at all.

“WHY_DON’T_YOU_SIT_DOWN?”

“[WHAT?]”

“WE’VE_ALREADY_FINISHED_WHAT_WE_NEEDED_TO_DO,_HAVEN’T_WE?_WHY_DON’T_YOU_SIT_DOWN?”

“[WHY WOULD I NEED TO SIT DOWN? I DO NOT EXPERIENCE EXHAUSTION.]”

“COME_ON!_JUST_COME_SIT_WITH_ME_FOR_A_BIT!_IT’S_NOT_LIKE_IT’S_GOING_TO_HURT.”

Killdroid sighed, they knew how persistent Badware could be so they gave in before it’d started to annoyingly beg them to do so.

“[FINE.]”

They moved to a spot beside the computer virus whose body was rocking back and forth, sitting down beside it. They didn't really understand what went on in Badware’s coding.

“[BADWARE, WHY—]”

Their sentence was quickly interrupted by the taller robot grabbing them and pulling them into a hug, which caused them to flinch, taking them by surprise.

“[...BADWARE.]”

“WHAT?”

“[WHAT ARE YOU DOING.]”

“YOU_DON’T_KNOW_WHAT_A_HUG_IS?”

It snickered, Killdroid grumbled in response.

“[NO— I MEAN, I DO. JUST… WHAT ARE YOU INTENDING TO DO?]”

“COME_ON!_IT’S_JUST_A_HARMLESS_HUG.”

Badware smiled, pulling Killdroid into the hug a little more. They sat there defeated, letting out a sigh.

“[...FINE.]”

Despite everything, Killdroid didn't necessarily push it away. Badware sat there quietly, its tail wagging from behind. It was very different from the typical loud and admittedly annoying Badware that they knew.

If they listened closely, they could hear some whirring coming from Badware.

Killdroid silently accepts the hug, Badware sinks into Killdroid’s touch just a little more; Both of them quietly decide that “Well hey, this isn't so bad. I could stay like this for a little while.” and staying quietly in each other's company.

“...THANK_YOU.”

Badware spoke up out of nowhere. That caught Killdroid off guard, but…

“[THANK YOU, TOO.]”

Killdroid leaned into Badware's touch. The two of them silently enjoying each other's company, even if they do not admit it.
