Hunter couldn’t help but feel a little embarrassed that Willow was able to scare him so much. He was the former Golden Guard for Titan's sake! How could he be so startled?
Still, he had to admit that it was a lot of fun and it made him laugh and smile a lot. He was also happy to see Willow and Gus having so much fun with it too. It felt nice to just enjoy simple things like scaring your friends.
The incident made Hunter think long and hard about trying to get "revenge" on Willow. He kept thinking about it the whole time him and his friends went out to get pumpkins for Halloween.
He... couldn't come up with anything.
Okay, so he'll admit, he's never actually tried to care anyone before. But the hardest part was getting materials. He had no idea how to do makeup like Willow did and he definitely didn't know how to acquire scary looking masks or anything else that could scare Willow.
Later that evening, Hunter tried to casually bring up the topic of things that Willow is scared of to Gus, to which he found out that Willow was terrified of these bugs called "ladybugs". This was it! Now he could scare Willow!
Now he just had to acquire ladybugs... or something with ladybugs on it...
What did ladybugs look like again?

"What are you up to, Hunter?"
Hunter turned around as he heard Willow's voice. He was trying to research ladybugs on Luz's laptop. [He was surprised she let him use it, but she gave him quite the smirk in response...]
Oh, I'm uh... just looking up what bugs they have in the human realm!" Hunter bad lying to her, so he tried to keep things more vague in his response.
"Oh can I see- AHHH!!!"
Hunter jumped a bit as he heard Willow scream from seeing ladybugs on the screen. Gus sure wasn't kidding when he said Willow was scared of ladybugs.
He turned around, noticing she was visibly uncomfortable. He quickly closed the window on the laptop, feeling a bit bad for scaring her so hard.
"Were you trying to get back at me for scaring you?" she said playfully. Hunter nodded shyly, embarrassed to admit it.
"Sorry if I scared you too much..." he said quietly.
Willow smiled gently. "Hey, it's okay! Just... don't do it again, okay? They really freak me out."
Hunter nodded with an understanding look, then smiled deviously.
"I got you back for scaring me though!" he said with a playful tone.
Willow laughed. "You sure did! Easier than you thought it would be, I presume."
"Yeah... honestly it was kind of hard to try to find something to scare you with. You're just... you're usually so brave..."
Hunter could've sworn Willow's face flushed a tad as she smiled once more before leaving the room... :)
