Summary
It all started with Ash wondering about the simple question of just where his best friend came from, and how Professor Oak first met him.
The story ultimately just leaves more questions than answers, and Pikachu sets out to retrace the steps that led him to Professor Oak in the first place, to hopefully discover the forgotten secrets of his own past.
... Maybe some secrets were best left forgotten.
